  • Cool room dude. This must look great when you put off the light in evening and just hang out and chill out there :)

  • May I ask I ask what song this is? I love the tanks, btw! :D

  • pretty fucking pretty.

  • WHaT Floating Plants were on the Tank at 0:15 ?

  • @TheAsianVids Salvinia natans

  • @kveetka what kind of lighting do you use in your tanks? specifically the big one and the first one you showed in the video.

  • @4leafclovers402 The big one has shop lights (daylight bulbs, 2x32w Philips T8 fluorescents), and the first one in video has screw-in-type mini spiral fluorescents (also daylight, 2X9W). All tanks are in 2 wpg range.

  • last on was my fav, was that a beta?

  • @xXBeafowlXx Yes, that is my betta tank by my computer.

  • can you recommend what light fixture use on a 55 gallon? :)

  • @aetherealworlds Depends what you're after. All I have is low light tanks & plants; for that on my 50 gallon, daylight shop lights work fine. If you want to go into anything higher light/more diverse, then you have to investigate some of the better aquarium lighting canopies and I really don't know anything about them, sorry.

  • Beautiful.

  • nice fish

  • Lolz someone has MTS XD beautiful tanks though

  • is it the cost will be expensive if during every month?

  • hey man.. did u set up the Co2 system at all ur tank?

  • @mandyyew No injected CO2. I do dose Seachem Excel 3 times/wk - Mon,Wed, Fri (not daily).

  • now there is someone who actually cares about their fish ^_^

  • where do you get rocks for your aquariums? im having trouble with knowing what rocks i can use and where to get them

  • @popeyeswife I collect mine from the lakeshore. As far as how to know what to use, this gentleman has an excellent article on rocks -- skepticalaquarist com/rocks -- and how to test for safety. (Note Start website with 3 w's and where I have double space put in a dot because this won't let me put in a direct link.

  • @popeyeswife Some aquarium stores sell different types of rocks by the pound, either that or go exploring :)

  • I'll call it stress relief room.

  • Cool, did yr wife say anything to you, lol

  • @arowanaman7 I am the wife. Husband built me my fish room and tolerates my fish talk but shows no other interest.

  • whoa how much does this all cost and if you dont mind me asking whats your job?

  • how do you keep ur aquarium so clean?

  • @IPODtouchknower123 weekly water changes

  • Those are some beautiful aquariums. Great video, too.

  • Soooooo many pretty tanks! Nope i'm not jealous...not at all XD

  • You´re the god of aquariums!!!

  • I am so jealous.

  • where can you find salvinia natans?

  • @ilistenttohippohop Do you have an Aquarium Society in your area? Somebody's bound to have it. If not at a fish store, check garden centers in spring; maybe with the pond plants.

  • wow!!! congrats... excellent job

  • Lovely tanks, is there some kind of under layer of soil or fluorite under the sand?

  • @azaquarium123 Nope. Just gravel and/or pool filter sand.

  • i'd hate to see your electricity bill....

  • Great tanks, but none of them are amazing. lacking imagination imo...

  • Nice betta!

  • very very nice, congratulations

  • klassno great job

  • I love that every tank is all natural.

  • that must be one hell of a day to clean all those tanks........

  • Can I have all of this for my birthday?? :D

  • Now u are a pro does a dragon fish and aqua scape work together

  • you are very rich dude... ;) amazing tanks:D

  • one lucky Betta =)

  • i mite do tis to but tats a lot of water changn

  • klasno very awesome..

  • you rock!

  • that's nice! What kind of lamps are hangin over those thans? Are these 'plantcolor' of 'daylight' or an ordinairy TL-lamp?

  • @driesh1 Shop lights with daylight bulbs.

  • what the floating plant at 0:22

  • @x0XMichaelX0x Salvinia natans. Grows like a weed, I dispose half of it every week into my compost bin. It's like duckweed but much bigger and less annoying (and unlike duckweed easy to get rid of if you would want to).

  • @kveetka thanks

  • impresionante y adictivo

  • more like a plant room

  • do you use co2???

  • I love how you made all your tanks so natural. With all the live plants and everything.

  • If you like aqua scaping, please join me at "Aquascapers of chicago" on facebook

  • what if the power got cut....? lol

  • how big is the smallest tank you got at bottom there in your vid (0.37)? can you tell me the LWH and liters on that. thanks.

  • r u indian

  • @adityadg7890 Canadian

  • @kveetka oh sorry i am indian , i thought u were astables u have put ur aqarium are kind of indian tables

  • @adityadg7890 The 29 gallon (second largest tank) that is not on a "real" aquarium stand is on a credenza that I bought in 1979 from a local department store. That's interesting that it looks Indian. Cheers!

  • thats what i wisj my bed room looked like... im getting a 6ft in there soon!! along with my 2.5 ft and my single foot...

man i can just see my never leaving my room ever. it will be my most favored room in the world!!!!

  • lol at the cheesy as fuck effects @ 00:40

  • i hope you have a wheely chair

  • I noticed you have alot of plants. Do you know of any in particular that can survive in a high pH environment (specifically 8.0 to 8.5)? Thanks.

  • @sspamer Our pH is 7.5 - but probably java ferns if I'd have to hazard a guess.

  • @TheAnimalEnthusiast Sometimes I wonder.

  • Nice tanks, do you use co2 on any of them?

  • @Tang526 No injected CO2. I do dose Seachem Excel 3 times/wk - Mon,Wed, Fri (not daily).

  • Do you use a airstone?

  • @carstopguy No.

  • Dude you are an aquarium pimp lol. You should buy a dwarf frog box just for good measure. If I may ask, do the tanks represent different themes of environments? It's just that if I had that many tanks, they would have strong distinctions from each other.

  • @godofimagination Nah, I'm a just one-theme person, I guess.

  • @bismathebox It really depends on the fish. Research to find out their preference. However, generally speaking, most will be all right at 76 to 79F. No need to ever change the temperatures for seasons. If you need to adjust temps by a lot, do it slowly.

  • what kind of light fixtures and bulbs are you using?

  • what kind of light fixtures and bulbs are you using?

  • @Rsour4Life

shop lights or screw in fluorescents. All "daylight" and each tank around 2 wpg.

  • like about how much had u spend on all those tanks? and ......did u buy the plants online or wat? and...... nice tanks =)

  • like about how much had u spend on all those tanks?

  • I love all the green and brightness. hah

  • Bro.... or Sis... not sure of your gender. but, whatever, TELL ME HOW YOU DO IT!!!

lol. I really wanna get into aquascaping, but i cant seem to get started. any helps?

    lol.

    Thanks.

    -Don

  • @Donzieja Gender=female. Getting Started: research "easy" plants on Tropica & other sites. Finding some of the plants is the hardest part - if u have an Aquarium Society in yr area & they have meetings/auctions, this will help greatly. Next look at entries in AGA Aquascaping Contest to see what you like best in designs - note these people have high light, C02 & many plants out of the "easy" realm but it's good for seeing what u like, i.e. rocks or wood, alleyways or a jungle...

  • @kveetka

    Thank you!

  • The little betta tank in the end was cool. He was happy.

  • dude ur the 1st person i've seen that houses their gourami properly

  • why do you need so many beautifull tanks ;)

  • dats expensive

  • what sort of substate are you using for the tank at 0:26 ?

looks like sand from what i can see?

  • @meecrobmachine apologies for the late reply. It's pool filter sand. Looks darker "in person" than it does in the tank.

  • @kveetka Does the pool filter sand change your PH at all?

  • @Mason749 No.

  • thats alotta water changes lol

  • how much electric bill haha

  • i ahve sex to this type of music

  • Takashi Amano in the making?

  • find die aquarien am boden schon fast sinnlos... becken stehen besser oben um sie am besten betrachten zu können

  • How many hours should we switch on the light in the aquarium?

  • @poulisw Approx from 8 to 10 hours (or +/-), you have to see what works best for your setup... most of mine are on for 9-1/2 hours, two of them are on for 9.

  • Amazing. Those tanks are straight-up Amano status.

  • do you use co2?

  • @jj92547 No injected CO2. Tanks are low light. I have Seachem Excel which I add Monday, Wednesday & Friday only.

  • love all the tanks they all look great

  • ya same with goldfishes too its just wrong to keep them in bowls!!

  • Lmao

  • Those fish tanks are VERY neat... i wish mine was that clean

  • I like this,so clean,and well taken care of.very nice..

  • BEAUTIFUL! Have you considered trying saltwater reef? You have the skills!

  • you have done really well, your tanks are pristinely clean. In my vids I show my living room as a fishroom, but you have still far more room for tanks!

  • I got a computer room, a Hi-Fi room, a Mahjong room, an exercise room and a woodwork room. Now I want a fish room!!!

  • LOL!

  • Not enough tanks! You need 5 more.

  • and i thought my beta fish was spoiled lol

  • @MizzSunKist thats not spoiling a betta fish thats how it should be..

  • That's impressive! must have been expensive getting plant lights for all those tanks

  • Impressive!!!!

  • Oh my.. that is intense and impressive! How muc time does it take you to maintain all these? I hope to have a "fish room" one day, but not this scale, hah.

  • how many gallons is that tank at 0:21

  • 50.

  • cool fish room I have one myself.

  • Far out mate nice tanks

you should rent the room to people they would pay alot to live there and you just come back and clean the tanks every now and then

  • Are you even remotely aware how much I would pay to rent this room for one day? Somewhere around 2-5k.

  • lol y get your own room or go to a zoo it wud be cheaper

  • how are you able to grow those plants in sand substrate?

  • Most are java ferns that don't need substrate. For the others, I generally stick to plants that are classified as "easy".

  • most plants will grow in whatever medium you have but some will work much better than others. aquaponics is just like hydroponics u dont need soil just a substrate so same concept here. if u are going to do a planted tank go get onix sand, florite, ext. and wattage per gallon should be checked so you know what plants u can grow. and fertalize once in a while plants need food to(fish shit doesnt have everything a plant needs)

  • great ;)

  • I would spend my entire day in this room!

I love the tank at 0:17. The plants look fantastic, like a jungle.

  • vary nice

  • what all do you do to each tank that would take that long

  • I gravel vac till there is a 50% water change; clean sponge pre-filters, prune plants. I don't think it takes me too long.

  • that's how long it takes me, and ive had fresh water tanks for over 20 years. If it takes you longer then that, then your doing something wrong.

  • that's like 30 minutes of cleaning if that.

  • fuck no, take a hella lot longer than that

  • 30 minutes EAch for the small ones, big ones an hour

  • now all you need is a Recliner in the middle!

  • hey good luck moving or cleaning all of them thats a lot of water

  • you are soo lucky : D

  • great aquarium thanks for the upload

  • wow....

  • with those small aquariums you have with cover with lights... do you put like a plastic glass to protect the lights? or not?

because I have the cover but I don't want to put it and turn on the light because the water from the filter splash and it might get electricity in my aquarium.

and what watts you prefer to use for the lights? 10 watts is good?

  • There is glass between the water and lights. 10 watt daylight fluorescent screw-ins are what I use - one for the 5 gallons and two for the 10 gallons.

  • nice

  • wow ... You are really aquarium lover, maintain a lot of aquarium is not easy isn't it... Nice

  • whats largest tank u got in there 75 100 i cant fit any more larger than a 55 in my room cause my room is so damn small!!! :(

  • whaoo thats awesome! you must spend a lot of time tanking care of the tanks they look really nice!

  • and money to. Thats what I call true art.

  • lol well yeah haha i spend way too much on my tank yet its nothing compared to these

  • my favorite it the 55 gallon :)

dang the electric bill is nothing to worry about, the lights must of been hella expensive :P

  • I just use shop lights - on sale at Canadian Tire, under $20 (daylight bulbs extra).

As far as the 3 previous comments on electric bills. Can't answer. I've always had tanks; have never separated out the aquarium portion. Our electric bills have always been do-able, except in summer when the air conditioner is running a lot. I'm sure there's worse ways to spend one's money.

  • how do you pay your electric bills lol

  • dude even if people are asking questions you should respect that they watched them and asked on how you did things in a way they are complementing you. ass whole
