why don't you just play in single player mode with two wiimotes instead? :|

You don´t need to have it set on 2-player mode, you can just set up the game for 1 player, and then turn on the second wiimote, start the game and the dual-wield is ready.

Lol cans? Awesome! Didnt even kno wii had Duck Hunt, since my mom gave my regula nintendo away I always just played online and the online one has one minigame in it and you get to kill the dog wit a chaingun :D!

i thought it was 2 player mode with 2 guns but i later found out that it was 1 player with 2 guns

Er... No, you're supposed to choose 1 Player, but have both remotes connected and turned on. Then choose the shooting gallery, then hit A or B on the second remote when it starts, and the second crosshair will appear. You're playing 2 player here, hence your two separate scores.

What happens if you shoot your opponent's Mii?

You can't hurt the other player's Mii, but if on the final round ( UFOs ) you shoot down a UFO that is flying away with your opponent's Mii, they will have benefitted since the Mii's who survive add +10 to their respective player.
