  • I found josh's videos a little more than a year ago and ive been doing them since. I didnt believe it at first, but i started seeing results and got realy commited to it. My friends call me Edward cullen now, haha. Thanks a lot Josh :)

  • @JuddFassbender Glad to hear it worked for you? How long did it take for you to see results. I've tried for 4 months working on with the exercises. I trained about an hour a day. But it didnt work? Could you share how many reps you performed and how many times and how long your workout were? thanks

  • @ctrix23 well ive been doing all of josh's excersises for about a year and a half, but i recomend mostly his jaw, and cheek excersises. When i first started, I did the weight training like in this video, but i dont do it anymore. I bite down on my jaw all the time, it became less of a workout and more of a habbit, and most of my jaw definition is made from this. My jaw didnt get much bigger though, only a little, but it became defined and it gives that illusion of a big jaw. results come slowly.

  • TMJ!

  • Jesus christ!!!

  • hey man, I can't find any 5MHz ultrasound massages for under $200. Would a 1MHz massager be beneficial for facial fatloss/puffiness? Cheers

  • dont do this with braces...

  • it's a great exercise, you can handle strong punches with this

  • how long does this take to work?

  • Well this sure does beat paying a few thousand dollars for plastic surgery. Thanks for this.

  • Hom much seconds or minutes to stay in mouth (i mean the pound ) ? i don't understood this part, anyone help me ?

  • just started this today. however, i filled up a gallon of milk with water. you don't really need a weight. definitely feel my jaw all pumped up right now

  • Absolute cred 4 postin this. Sweet tip. Peace

  • Just want to say to anyone struggling to find a damn mouth guard with an adequate extension to tie weight onto look for ‘Brain Pad’ mouthguards as they have a breathing gap in the centre of the mouth guard which you can tie string to and then add a weight chain.

  • That cant be good for your teeth.

  • hey will this increase the jaw size? thanks

  • @josh7514 my jaw makes that clicking noise too, i guess i got Tmj .. does this help cure it you think?

  • Where can i get one of those things??? I really need work on my jaw and jawline...

  • i wanna do this, even though my jaws are redicilusly good imo ^^ wanna get them lower, theyre wide atm :)

  • hmm i still dont know how to build that weight thing, and i am a girl and i dont have a mouth guard, do u know any alternative things that can work the same muscle

  • @Nouri8885 go to dick sporting goods, or some kind of sporting store, and buy a mouth gaurd.. then you could just tie it to a gallon of water or some shit. i know its ghetto but if you dont wanna buy a weight, do that

  • does that works? anyone who did this, it helped you?

  • dude has this made your jaw muscles bigger? im looking to get a more manlier jaw will this help?

  • im doin this at the moment and it works really well, but just wondering, this wont damage my bottom teeth with the weight against it, would it?

  • Josh can I use sock instead cos I live in kosova and can't find this mouthguard thanks

  • So just hold it for one minute and release?

  • How many kilos should I start with?

  • get a life dude

  • just chew agum dude

  • @slimzeexxx

hahhahahahha this guy is like american psycho

  • Josh, this can´t be good for your teeth. Stop doing this, or your teeth are going to get looser, just saying:)

  • hahaha dude am not sure if its good for ur teeth or not but this exercise it's actually use for an importen training for Muai thai(thaiboxing) we do this like 150 reps a day with even more heavy then this guys does.. like move ur head up and down lifting the wight and we get jaw smacking in the ring so i dont think ur teeth would come loos just for this exercise lol

  • Hey - this looks interesting will be giving it a try. There is another way though: Chew on a squash ball for about 100 - 150 reps for 3 sets and I guarantee you your jaw will ache like crazy!! You get a huge pump in your face after

  • squash ball?

  • if i do this will i get my jaw line like brad pitt??

  • @zieggenmelker

I didn't.. perhaps if you do this and steroids at the same time it might!

  • @zieggenmelker lol u fail

  • josh will this exercise help make my face small and also double chin ??? thanks man

  • What does your dentist think about this one?

  • This is absolute madness. You could ruin your TM joints.

  • Well, you remain pretty stationary though. I have been doing it for years with no problems. Someone with problems shouldn't do this, but it actually stopped my jaw from clicking when I chew.

    Thanks,

  • @Josh7514 omg my jaw does that =0

  • @Josh7514 my question to you: DOES IT WORK?

  • @ChrisCrockerTime

this guy is a joke crazy ass motherfucker somebody smack his ass out of the house

  • Hey Josh.....Are you placing the mouthguard over your top teeth or bottom teeth when doing this exercise?

    Thanks

  • bottom teeth

  • @Josh7514 ive never seen the extra rubber bit on the gum shield ive been doing boxing for years. What type of mouth guard is that?

  • This somehow will hurt the bone that holds your teeth and also might hurt the neck ... Maybe use less weight I guess. I know the guy on the video has no bad intentions but doesn't mean that this work for everybody

  • go less... my weight is much more after a while of using it.

  • How much do you use now? I've been using the same weight for a while and the muscles don't "burn" as much as they used to.

  • made me laugh when u said 3 days..

  • Why?

And this could strain your neck.

  • actually don't do this if you have dental work veneers or crowns on lower teeth or braces. I have veneers on top teeth and it doesn't hurt them at all. I've had braces and no destruction of dental work either.

  • the weight shouldn't be too much as to strain neck; you are holding your head straight and still. Use lighter weights if you have a problem, or if you have a neck problem, then don't don't use the exercise.

  • Will this loosen the teeth? Does anybody know for certain?

  • if you have bad teeth or braces, then please be careful

  • just chew on a tennis ball people...geez...ull have a square chin in a week or two if u do it enough times a day

  • DO NOT do this! I have been boxing for 17 years and in the gym, we have a secret way of developing a super square strong invincible jaw. Just take a tennis ball, put it in a sock, tie the sock so its tight, and voila, chew away. Small bites, large bites, sideways, etc. That will give you a seriously defined jaw. This guy has a weak baby face. Tennis ball chewing has been used by Delahoya, Tyson and lots of other greats. This is a secret so tell everyone!

  • A tennis ball? damn your mouth must be huge! lol perhaps you should put up a video showing us how to do it?

  • your gonna lose your teeth if you do this.

whats more important, a defined jaw or the ability to chew?

  • I highly doubt it, have you heard about palatal expanders? basically orthodontists enlarge your teeth with that method, holding the weights for a couple minutes is by far less violent imo. and a defined jaw is VERY important to look good.

  • where the hell can i get these mouth guards? i cant find with with the bit coming out the front

  • your teeth is going to loose over time...

  • does the mudguard go in the upper or lower teeth?

  • That's amazing!

  • i thought i came up with this :O

  • Hey man, thanks for this video. I also found out a possible new trick that may or may not be nearly as effective as your technique, but i'll let you be the judge of that. If you pull down your lower jaw with your hands while maintaining a closed jaw(not clenched) for about 1-2 minutes will it be the equivelant of your workout with weights?

  • daym thnx alot. ive been noticing why my jaw has been so small nd thought maybe everyones doin a jaw exercise but me. lol well ill try it out nd tell u how it goes!!

i heard chewing alot of gum helps too

  • Chew a tennis ball. See my instructions on the comment page. You'll have a square jaw in 1 month and be able to take almost any punch.....(as long as you see it coming)

  • are you putting the guard on your bottom set of teeth or the top?

  • Why does this hurt my Gums?

  • I can't find a mouthpiece with an extra rubber piece coming out........

  • I use a double mouthpiece and put the rope in between the middle(the part where you breathe from) Hope that helps.

  • you can get them on ebay "american football motuguard"

  • Ok my face usually puffs out on the sides making it almost pear shaped.. its puffiness though.. the actual bone of my jaw in buried under it about 1 cm. Can this help?! Please tell me it will...My jawline is soft ... I want it sharp.

  • I'm not Josh, but I can tell you the answer is no. To accomplish what you're after, you will need to lose body fat. I would still do the jaw exercises though while dieting. Then you will have a more define jawline.

  • thiss does work

  • anyone actually see results with this method?

  • I do, just try it for yourself.. I don't have much muscle in my jaw to begin with but I imagine that someone with bigger jaw muscles could probably benefit a lot more than me

  • I think it's the opposite

  • Dunno.. but I'm assuming that because I'm also a hard gainer when it comes to body muscles. I think true ectomorphs might have more difficulty training their muscles including the masseter.

  • does it matter how u put the mouthpiece in your mouth? can it be from any side?

  • is this ok for your teeth?

  • Hey is this exercise meant to only lengthen the jaw or will it give it that masculine jaw look?

  • It's supposed to give you a more masculine look from what I can tell. It makes the jaw look wider and more square.

  • hey i just started trying the jaw work out with the mouth piece, but for some reason I mostly feel it in my temple and not in my lower jaw muscles.. am i doing something wrong ? im using the brainpad mouthpiece that goes over both top and bottom teeth

  • Watch the sides of face and jaw exercise revision video, he gives a tip on how to work the lower jaw muscles more.

  • Yo! Been doing this for only like a week and a half with a 5 pound weight and im def seeing things. I just wanna know if you fitted your mouthguard, i got that one just like you and it tells you how to fit it but it sounds like a pain. Im seeing results but im worried that doung this a lot will be bad for my teeth or sumting.

  • is there any exercises for the jaw without using weight? thaaaaaaaanx

  • Hi... I found the answer to my own question and thought I would post it for others... I'm not in the U.S (Australia) and so I found it hard to find one of those special mouthguards.. When I watched the Gridiron movie "Little Giants" and realized they are American Football or Hockey mouthguards - you can just type "Hockey Mouthguard" in Google and find one that ships to your country. Hope this helps...

  • thats really cool man... i love making my own creative workouts but i dont think i could ever come up with this. thanks a lot

  • You're welcome, hahaha..

  • Hey Josh can you please reply to my previous message? thanks

  • Thanks for the wicked vids mate, clearly everyone finds them helpful! Just one thing though, where the hell do you buy that mouth piece thing with the long plastic but sticking out from it!? lol its driving me nuts looking for it. And finally, are there are exercises to burn fat around the actual jaw to give it definition or will this excercise do that in addition to making the jaw longer? Thanks again! :D

  • the weight burn is an overall thing. You must reduce calories. You can see the difference, even though jaw is wider and cheekbones, that my later vids, I have 20 lbs more on me. So, go hit the cardio, cut the carbs, watch the booze, and pump weights, and continue to do the face workouts bud... Thanks for watching. : )

  • I´m brazilian...

    Eu estava procurando exercicios faciais

    E achei seus videos.

    Eles são otimos

Mas o que eu mais gosto é que você é lindo demais =D

  • Hi Josh...

Thinking about using this nifty invention of yours to attempt to rehabilitate my TMJ...

I just can't quite see on the video how you tie the rope to the mouth guard... Is that a special type of mouthguard with the rubber hanging out? I've never seen those before, is there a special name for that type of mouthguard.

  • Yes, the mouthguard has holes in it, and has a built on strap. I purchased this at walmart.

  • AAAH! lol I almost crushed my left toe minutes ago. The mouthpiece broke and the weight fell really close to my left foot, it hurt quite a bit and it didn't even hit the toe properly, I can only imagine if it did.. so beware with your toes when you do the exercise! :P

  • LOl,,, don't use too much weight... God, that would suck.

  • I love your exercices :) can I use a rope and a botle of water? anyway, I can feel the burn.. is it inportant with the mouth guard ?

  • I would really used that mouth guard.

  • I think I'll stick with 20lbs. for a while. I can hold it for days though. I've been doing at least 3 sets of a minute or more a day. I'm not sure if I'm seeing changes yet. Hard to tell.

  • I should say I'm not sure if it's squaring it off. It's definitely building the masseter.

  • Good... Keep putting stress on the bone, it will cause thins to thicken up, and consistency will produce muscle memory in your masseter.

  • I use about 20lbs too 3 sets of 1:30 minutes 3times a week and it's fine but sometimes one of my front teeth hurts lol, but I think that's because my teeth aren't perfectly straight, when I fit the mouthguard better in my mouth it doesn't hurt much.

  • reduce the weight. 10 lbs is sufficient, and builds just fine. Remember, you don't pump weights for hours with your jaw, like you do with your arms. Just hold longer; trust me.

  • Just to let everyone know that I've been working on this exercise for 2 months now (skipped a few day or so), and this stuff worked. Thanks JOSH

If you anyone would look at the history comment on this video, you would see that I was a little skeptical when I first saw this video (you'll see what I mean when you read my comment).

  • You're welcome...

  • I'm up to 20lbs.

  • Don't put too much stress on the teeth though... just hold lighter weight longer

  • thank you very much Josh, I hope to see my jaw muscles grow i just tried it right now I feel the burn!! is my head supposed to hurting like it does, hmm.... nah, maybe its all the ciggaretts i've been smoking today. Well thanks again!!!

    WilchesE

  • Ha ha... common,, make yourself look better, but destroy your body with smoking... give it up! he he he

yes it might make your head hurt a little

  • 3 weeks, 3 fuckin weeks of doin this dudes exercises and im seein AMAZING results!!!! seriously, this shit really works, thanks for posting these exercises bro!!!

  • You're welcome

  • where would you buy hard rubber to chew on??and how long did it take you guys before you noticed a huge difference in the size of your jaw muscles...im doing this exercise 3x a day for one minute....

  • Oh I was using a Brainpad boil-to-fit mouthpeice. You get a pump right away, just like lifting weights, but watch Josh's revision vid to this exercise. Chewing will build the whole masseter and can round things out but if you do the one with the weight and let it hang it puts more stress on the lower part of the jaw. They feel totally different. I'm sticking to this one from now on.

  • I second that. The revisioned exercise is better to give a more square look to the jaw.

  • Just a little update.. my jaw muscles are even bigger now not only from the exercise itself but from chewing hard rubber until the jaw muscles get sore, I chew for 2 or 3 hours. This combined with the exercise will get them even bigger.

  • yo turd, can you post a before and after pic?

  • Nice, I tried the weight thing but I didn't have a good enough strap, so I'm just chewing the mouth peice until my jaw burns like crazy. There's also this exercise where you lie down on your back and raise your head off the floor... Try that while biting hard on a mouthpiece... that one burns too!

  • Sure,

You could use a rope, but that might feel a little uncomfortable, and I don't know what it would do to your teeth. I wouldn't. The guard is just comfortable. Just make sure to get one that fits your mouth well.

    J

And don't go too heavy, cause you may hurt your teeth. I have stayed at, max 15 lbs. But I went back down to 10, which is adequate. Just hold longer. I actually did 20 for a while, but it was hard on the lips and teeth and everything used to hold the mouth guard.

  • I just take a boil-to-fit mouthpiece and bite and kind of chew on it on the way to work, when I'm lifting weights, etc. I've been doing it for a few months now and yeah there's a difference...

  • Is this to make the jaws bigger or to make them stronger?

  • both. I tried it and i'm seeing results. *cheers*

  • I don't live in the usa, is there anywhere online I can buy the mouthpiece??? Im desperate to try this!!!!

  • ebay

  • hey man its look like its help you

plase i dont understand just hold it whit the teeth or do something?

  • Hey Josh, wont this exercise pull anyone's teeth out? I know it's only a minute a day, but the pressure adds up doesn't it? Reply asap. :)

  • Thanks for the private reply man. I just want to tell everyone that if you are going to start on this exercise plan. Be sure that your teeths are matured (harden). SOo.. I recommend this exercise to anyone who is 20+ years old.

  • hasn't mine yet

  • I bite and hold the mouthpiece for as much time as I can.. Do you think that adding weight will work the jaw muscles more? btw for how long have you been doing it?

  • It is best to hold it for up 1 minute. I added up to 20 lbs. It was fine for the jaw, but the rubber piece wont hold out. The best is to keep it at about 15 lbs, and hold. Sometimes, skip a day or two, when your jaw gets used to the weight, and then resume the exercise.

Thanks & hope it works for you. Just remember to look at yourself to make sure you are using equal pressure with both sides of your jaw, to build evenly.

    J

  • can i ask you something, how will this make my jaw look? is this to make the jaws bigger or to make them stronger?

  • bigger and stronger

  • are you kidding me or what? look at this guys second video and compare the jaws THE STUFF WORKS!!!

  • Well I can confirm that it does to some extent.. My jaw muscles are a little bigger I can say that for sure just not as big as I'd like them to be! but I'm also a hardgainer when it comes to bodybuilding so I think people with good genetics can benefit a lot from it.

  • It does work. The only thing is that in order to see definition like crazy, you'll need to burn the weight too. Right now i am 10 lbs heavier than when i mad the chin vid

  • how much are you doing now?!?!

  • good stuff, dont know why people neglect the most obvious muscles

  • The body is filled with muscles we fail to train. These exercises he shows aren't very...mainstream, but I personally have improved my cheeks and chin from doing them
