I'd practice with a metronome for at least 15 mins a day, or whatever you can spare, it's just something to help your internal meter ALOT.

How long have you been playing any kind of music? Did you play anything before you drummed, I'm guessing no, and that's why you need to strengthen that internal tempo.

Other then that keep drumming and remember, a drummer without a double pedal better be a sexy beast with 2 bass drums.

And no, I really just picked up the drums because my friends all had their other instruments, so I just started banging away, and got this far. what size tama snare to you have and what kind of evans head do you have on it?

It's a 13 inch snare, with the stock evans head that came with it in the video. I've switched to the remo pinstripe now, and i'm much happier with it

hey man for two years im pretty impressed! especially that stick trick you do with your left hand! only two suggestions: 1) Lower your hi hat, it will drastically improve your ability to move around the kit, and 2) move your snare forward just a LITTLE bit... this will make playing rimshots easier for you. keep up the drumming!

2 yrs??? ive been playin for 3 yrs (completly taught myself) and have a better stickhandleing than you. you gotta take 2 or 3 courses just to get some feel. btw, change ur cymbals: they are the shitiest brand of sabian. buy somme AA stuff...dont cost too much.

I agree with everyone else, bad opening but good about midway trough. For a solo, try to stray away from beats, and try just insane, long fills.
