what uses do the hay have or is just for insolation? and are there any dangers of having it as insolation sorry if i miss spelled

@lest128 it's for insulation and when you douse the sides in the wet mixture of clay water the plaster mix will stick to it so you can make the walls.

where are you located? i noticed you mentioned your on an island? we are on vancouver island and giong to be building a cob home coming up this spring out west 40 mins boat ride from tofino... would like to hear your stories <3
