Nice video, but 'spell' doesn't mean to actually cast a 'spell'. He is referring to having a 'spell', as in having a rest, sitting for a spell, sitting for a rest. Such a great song, well done video. :)

Well, I found it quite difficult to "decode" the message of these lyrics ( and I knew they had a figurative meaning ) so I 've chosen something ambiguous ...
