I believe that this kind of Black metal elements DO belong to Europe. I believe that they NEED to find some musical elements to make their own sound. (For example they can make up as chinese warriors and use asian elements(rather than vampires castles etc). Im sure they will be more dreadful with these. Because asian things are very old and really scarry. They can play with chinese war masks? Imagine that. Thx.

no importa que salgan tipos diciendo que prefieren a las bandas de bm de primera generacion o que esto lo han escuchado un millon de veces de otros grupos o que odian el sonido de las bandas cuando hace falta el sonido de un instrumento como el bajo pero es bueno escuchar cuando las cosas se hacen con los sentimientos que las inspiran originalmente en este caso el odio es muy notorio en su musica y eso la hace buena musica a pesar de todo

I hate bassless black metal! I understand that black metal doesn't aim for technicality, but why is it that the majority of black metal produced these days is completely effortless!? I prefer the First Wave bands like Venom, Hellhammer, and Bathory.

When recording, the artist uses a bass. Considering one man can't play drums, two guitars, bass and perform vocals at the same time, I think it is somewhat acceptable.

Well, let's use Morbid Angel as an example. They over-dub for rhythm guitar on the albums, but when playing live, they have a temporary member play rhythm guitar who's not officially in the band. I don't see why Ululate can't simply find a live bassist... or a studio bassist for that matter. It's not like bass is expendable in metal. In fact, a strong bass presence is necessary.

Why use MA as an example? Is Azagthoth the only member? No. Does he live in China? No. Does he play black metal? No. I fail to see a sensible comparison between an underground black metal band from China and one of the world's biggest death metal legends from formerly DM-crazy Florida. I disagree that thundering bass is necessary in all metal (black metal) but I can understand the sentiment. I play bass and guitar myself and would never go w/out bass in my music, but some BM is perfect bassless.
