Why do people want to knock & take out of context?This was a superb live performance in the Albert Hall.I should know I was there.This was their (Snow Patrols) way of paying respect to Elbow with the orchestra, the actual musicians, that made up Elbows recordings.The video does not do credit to the actual performance as it was a magnificent rendition and a super homage by great musicians to a great song by a great band:a respectful tribute and not intended to be the ultimate version!

Sorry but this is terrible, Guy is the only person who can sing this beautiful song.

This would sound better recorded, but probably not all that different from the orginal version apart from lacking the change in the song from..'holy cow i love your eyes..''for Snow Patrol to turn this into something a bit slower is typical of them (not that i'm hating on SP as i am a MASSIVE fan). They probably should have put their own spin on it or just left it alone, it's one of those anthems you just can't make a cover of people would be happy with. Might aswell have done bohemian rapsody.

God.. this is sooo boring. Elbow are amazing and this does not do it justice...

I was at the Royal Albert for this..you really did well with the quality of this....thanx cos the live lounge version has been taken off of you tube..goodness knows why...a very special song ;-)

@johnsbitch1 Shame about the auto-focus camera software bug at the beginning! I was up in one of the boxes, as long as you lay low and keep the door shut you can pretty much get away with any camera, not so in the stalls.

Awsome video :D i went on the 29th at manchester and ELBOW WENT ON STAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they did a duet :D was awsome ahah Thansk agian for the video :) class quilty :)
