Bane looks fantastic! My favorite villian of Batmans by far, so I cant wait for that. But Catwoman...not so sure. Bane's mask is way cooler then it was in the comics and in Batman & Robin. But its not really Catwoman, without the ears, and I just hope it turns out good and I end up liking her character

If he could get a guy like Ledger to play Joker so amazingly then what is to say he can't get Tom Hardy (a guy whom he's already worked with in a critically acclaimed movie) to be Bane? I mean Nolan makes some great movie but we all know when it comes to having women with and look great sex appeal he is not really succesful in the realm maybe out of respect, idk. But most of Catwoman's/selina kyle is her sex appeal and seductive ways. So idk, I know Hathaway is not afraid to show off her body so we will see how she portrays her as well.

Pretty sure Bane is aligned with the league of shadows, who will be back for TDKR and led by Talia al Ghul/Miranda Tate. Seeing as how Christopher Nolan favours a more realistic approach, I don't beleive Bane will be on Venom but if he is it will be some kind of stimulant/steroid and it won't be administered via tubes hanging out of his head. Zsasz probably won't be back as he was only a periphery character in BB but Scarecrow and Two-Face are strong possibilities to return.

Even without one of those qualities, this character will not be Bane. Notice I never said he HAD to have a wrestler's mask. And to be honest, I like the muzzle idea a lot better.
Well the problem with your original opinion is that it's unrealistic. For starters, there is no such drug or steroid in the real world that can drastically and instantly boost strength and muscle growth like the Venom. So you can pretty much scratch that idea. Secondly, Christopher Nolan probably will use CGI to make Bane taller than Batman seeing as how Christian Bale is taller than Tom Hardy. And third, as long as Nolan retains Bane's brute force and his keen intellect, it will work.
@DeadmanInc336 I never said that the drugs had to work instantly. As long as he gets dianabol or something relatively close to dianabol, he'll be building more muscle than you can shake a stick at. As for Nolan using CGI to make him taller, no objection here! As long as Bane comes out taller, all is well.

If Bane has been trained by The League of Shadows since he was really young then he would definitely be a worthy foe for Batman (no venom necessary). I didn't think of that. At first I thought that if the Venom is utilized in the film that it would be a drug that gives you a ridiculous adrenaline rush that at the same times makes it hard for you to react to pain rather than a super steroid that drastically increases muscle size. But I didn't think about the use of Scarcrow's gas to actually make himself look much bigger in the eyes of his enemies. Let's just not forget that Nolan doesn't like to use much CGI.

Well you have to also keep in mind that Christopher Nolan's Batman films are meant to be realistic. They're a portrayal of what the Batman universe might be like if it was in our world. Yes, Bane is known for his size and strength. But he is also known for his brutality, viciousness, and his keen intellect. As long as Nolan can maintain those elements, it should work just fine. Bane is wearing a muzzle so that hints that he's just as brutal and vicious as we all know.
If Christopher Nolan does use some CGI on Bane, I seriously doubt that he'll use it to make him as big as gigantic as in the comics/cartoons. I also doubt he'll use it to make him extremely muscular. The most that I see happening with CGI is using it to make Bane look taller than Batman.

In the picture, Bane looks like a guy that can et his ass whupped by Batman in like 5 seconds. Bane is supposed to be a huge frick-off monster, and he just looks like a dumbass wrestler in this pic. How a guy like this is destined to break Batman's spine over his knee is a complete mystery to me.

This is Christopher Nolan's REALISTIC vision of Batman. We all knew right off the bat (no pun intended) that Bane wasn't going to be nearly as big as he looks like in the comics/cartoons. He looks like he could rip Batman apart. There is a reason why he is wearing a muzzle rather than a cheesy wrestler's mask.

1. Be taller than Batman
2. Have chemicals pumped into his body (need it be steroids or venom)
3. Be stronger than Batman
Even without one of those qualities, this character will not be Bane. Notice I never said he HAD to have a wrestler's mask. And to be honest, I like the muzzle idea a lot better.

Well the problem with your original opinion is that it's unrealistic. For starters, there is no such drug or steroid in the real world that can drastically and instantly boost strength and muscle growth like the Venom. So you can pretty much scratch that idea. Secondly, Christopher Nolan probably will use CGI to make Bane taller than Batman seeing as how Christian Bale is taller than Tom Hardy. And third, as long as Nolan retains Bane's brute force and his keen intellect, it will work.

@DeadmanInc336 I never said that the drugs had to work instantly. As long as he gets dianabol or something relatively close to dianabol, he'll be building more muscle than you can shake a stick at. As for Nolan using CGI to make him taller, no objection here! As long as Bane comes out taller, all is well.

@MrHalt Just my opinion mate, but why does Bane have to tower over Batman in the film just because it was that way in comics/cartoons?.Tom Hardy is 5'10" and could push 6'2" with lifts or a thick boot heel (if it is even necessary) so no CGI needed. If Bane has been trained by The League of Shadows since he was really young then he would definitely be a worthy foe for Batman (no venom necessary). Not having a go at you, just curious why so many people expect things to match up exactly w/comics?.

Now, with Tim Burton's version of the Joker, it was the 'original' Joker. But Nolan's Joker was a totally different Joker. There's a difference between original and new in this case. I was just listing what was needed for Bane to be considered original. But if he isn't, that's fine too!

what i noticed is that bane doesnt have them tubes that inject the vemon into him, so this could be him before he gets huge and string as hell. But idk if he will have all that in the movie. Looks good though.

I didn't think of that. At first I thought that if the Venom is utilized in the film that it would be a drug that gives you a ridiculous adrenaline rush that at the same times makes it hard for you to react to pain rather than a super steroid that drastically increases muscle size. But I didn't think about the use of Scarcrow's gas to actually make himself look much bigger in the eyes of his enemies. Let's just not forget that Nolan doesn't like to use much CGI.

Well you have to also keep in mind that Christopher Nolan's Batman films are meant to be realistic. They're a portrayal of what the Batman universe might be like if it was in our world. Yes, Bane is known for his size and strength. But he is also known for his brutality, viciousness, and his keen intellect. As long as Nolan can maintain those elements, it should work just fine. Bane is wearing a muzzle so that hints that he's just as brutal and vicious as we all know.

If Christopher Nolan does use some CGI on Bane, I seriously doubt that he'll use it to make him as big as gigantic as in the comics/cartoons. I also doubt he'll use it to make him extremely muscular. The most that I see happening with CGI is using it to make Bane look taller than Batman.

And I have a feeling that is how its going to end due to the fact that they want to do another reboot on Batman and do some Batman and Robin movies. If that happens then they can bring Bane back due to the fact that he was the first bad guy to make Bruce re think his life and almost quit the crime fighting life style.
