theres over 100 doors that are locked, i only need 1 lockpick to pick them all, i find it way too easy. most of the doors i do like this guy, with sounds, but a few of them i dont

I always use technique that when the tumbler comes down slowly it will only come max 2 times fast next time so the third is always slow. And when its slow its easy to pick so then press mouse / lockpick-key on xbox360..

no, he means if a tumbler slides down fast the next time it is likely to move slowly and therefore be easier to pick...

I don't even have to add lock picking as a major skill. I've gotten used to lock picking; I usually bring 1 or 2 lock picks with me to make it more realistic. The key to lock picking is that you need to watch the tumbler's speed at which it goes up. When it's at it's slowest, you can secure the tumbler with ease. So hit it a few times and you can notice a pattern. Take your time with each tumbler; find the pattern, secure it when it's slow, and move on to the next.

Just get the Skeleton Key when you're level 10>. It's an unbreakable lockpick (just hit the auto attempt button a few times) that also raises your security skill with 40 (as an ability). Just look for Nocturnal's shrine (it's a pretty easy quest).

the best way to do this on a lockpick that you need real high security level as you but at a low level just tap the thing up twice then press A(360) X(PS3) i just started playing the game and i got 16 security and those two swords u see in the fighters guild the green glass one and the other one with the gold hilt, i used this trick to get em and only broke 2 lockpicks no auto- attempt

You just get thrown in the imperial city jail by a guard, then when you get out, walk around and a lady will come out of the blue and give a note and says: read this, it's from a friend. and then you are set.

You have to do something that will get you thrown into jail, once you get out of jail u will be visited by a lady dunmer after waiting or resting. She will tell you to meet some ppl at the waterfront then u do a mini quest to get into it.

same technique i use, i only press A (on xbox) when it goes up slow and ONLY when it goes up slow..its much easier, and i keep holding up so it continuely goes up quickly

listen closeley when your lockpicking, youll hear two types of it, ones gears moveing and one little tink, the others gears moveing and a tank followed by a few more tinks.

You get good after a while

ya its not the sound of the gears but the tinkle tinkle of the pick.. it makes a double tinkle noise and u click right around there its tough at first to catch on though.
