In the movie "Sweet Dreams", which used Patsy Cline's actual recordings, she is heard singing "Blue Christmas". Does anyone know if this along with the others mentioned are available on a Christmas album or collection?
@Outtathesem Patsy never recorded a Christmas album. It was actually planned but unfortunately, she died before. And she never sang "Blue Christmas". In the movie, this is not her voice but the one of Jamey Ryan. Jamey Ryan get married to Charlie Dick, Patsy's husband, in 1965 and they divorced some years after.
This is Patsy and Ferlin. How do I know? I went to this show in Springfield Missouri when it was broadcast.. Was it ever cold waiting in line to get in but it was worth the wait.
I'm so sorry. Patsy didn't record White Christmas but WINTER WONDERLAND. Let It Snow and Winter Wonderland are the two Christmas songs Patsy recorded and that exist in video. But Winter Wonderland isn't available yet. I really hope it'll be someday cause I'm sure she sings it perfectly...
it is a duet with ferlin husky like this one that was done a wek before this one i have seen it at the country music foundation years ago and this one along with several other ones are cleaned up and can be released but for what ever the reason as of now they have not
there was also another duet between her and ferlin done around this same time it is winter wonderland the country music association has it but has not released it to the public as of yet. maybe they are saving it for a teaser or something . there is also more unreleased material they have on patsy that is not yet available. haver a blessed one everybody!
its patsy cline alright just listing to her voice if your a big fan then you will know iots her keep up the good work m8 its a good and very rare vid xxxx
This IS her, she had just almost been killed in a car wreck, and her face was still messed up a little. Her nose had been broken, and forehead cut open. I knew her husband, the late Charlie Dick.
If you really knew Charlie Dick, then you'd know he's still very much alive and well. I just saw and spoke with him very recently at a music function.
I know, I tried searching for one, but found out she had never sang one. A Patsy Christmas album would have probably been just as classic as some Elvis Christmas songs. I did, however, find some info that Patsy had wanted to record a song called "Christmas Without You", but never got the chance to.
It's awesome to hear Patsy sing a Christmas song.
Now this is truly adorable! So much more romantic than two people ripping each other's clothes off...

I wonder if Patsy children, Julie and Randy ever sing? I've wondered for a long time if either of them inherited her beautiful voice.

Plus, this video has been recorded in 1960 and Patsy had a car accident on June 14, 1961.

Fantastic! Another clip I had never seen. I think Patsy kept her face turned away from the camera a little too much, but she sounded good.
