@11thDoctor1 Yep. Probably so we'd all "enjoy" Transformers Prime version of Soundwave as he'll most likely be rebuilt into that. All because Hasbro wants WFC to be part of Prime continuity (hence Cliffjumper with TF Prime head). :(

@Jalanko13 No, he didn't ruin it. He improved it. You're probably just used to crap so much in recent transformer shows your brain is unable to comprehend what real quality and talent is  in voice acting. Voice acting had true character in most animated shows of the 60s to the early 90s. What, was there not enough thrash metal in it for you? :)

I think he ruined it because frankly, G1 voices and "bleep bloop" sound effects are pure crap. i liked the storylines well enough, but G1 is dated and corny. perhaps your fanboy mind is still clinging on to the magical saturday mornings when you used to watch it to notice its blaring problems and faults.

@Jalanko13 Did G1 had faults? Yes it did. Was it pure crap? No, it wasn't. If it was, you wouldn't have Transformers today. Plain and simple as that.

"Bleep bloop" sound effects? Most sound effects used in the cartoon already existed. Some created by Hanna-Barbera and many created by Hollywood studios such as Universal and 20th century fox. Also, not all sound effects I've used here were used in the cartoon (and they're also Hollywood sound effects).

@Jalanko13 Oh, and G1 also used Star Wars sound effects. In case you don't know, Ben Burt (the guy who made them) is considered to be one of the worlds best sound designers. So in regard to sound effects being pure crap, you, quite frankly, are full of shit.

@Jalanko13 If G1 was pure crap it would have been left behind with The Go-Bots. There would not have been other lines of TFs made based off it using the exact same story archs and characters. There also would not be a huge market of comic books created. And I think there were 3 movies that have earned billions of dollars all together. Everybody appreciates G1 and knows what started it all. And reading Grimbot, he's correct.. everything is dated as soon as it's produced.

Awesome work. I truly wish a studio would pick-up the original series and re-do the animation. Not to make it 'super cgi', but simply to improve the original animation, yet retain the grit.
