Yup the andes are notorious for explosive eruptions, so much that the Andestitic type of volcanoes are named after the mountain range. These volcanoes erupt with a higher gas content, and more viscous lava. Resulting in very explosive eruptions
The volcanoes found in the andes are the result of the Nazca tectonic plate being subducted under the South American plate, this results in the Nazca plate melting in the mantle, huge chunks break off and rise back to the surface as magma chambers.
i rated this crap 0* because of the horrible quality, who are you kidding, it's in 01/08, not 01-1950, cant you get an HD cam for fukin sake instead of ruining this!
There's 3 points you missed out because your an incompetant fk.
1) Look @ the distance theyre recording from. Even a high def cam would'nt be much better.
2) This clearly isn't profesionally done, its likely done by an AMAUTURE and a local at that. Which leads to my 3rd point.
3) CHILE IS A 3RD WORLD COUNTRY, NOT EVERYONE THERE CAN AFFORD HD CAMS DUMBASS. Im 14 years old and i can understand this, Ur ignorance astounds me. 5* for vid.
@Lizzi7891 Yes i know that classification is old, i know it originates and was most often used during the cold war, But your offence is ill put. The very fact that it is underdeveloped just proves my point, it is these underdeveloped countries that are most commonly refered to as being 3rd world by the general public, and im afraid Chile falls into that catagory. Im not attacking your country, and im not saying theres anything wrong with it, Google "is Chile a thrid world country" hava c.
@Lizzi7891 oh btw there are various catagories in which a country is classed 3rd world, e.g 3rd world countries in terms of political rights and civil liberties, 3rd world countries in terms of their gross national income (GNI), 3rd world countries in terms of their human development, 3rd world countries in terms of poverty, 3rd world countries in terms of press freedom. Please don't cum at me with accusations if your only going to contradict yourself and prove my point with wat u say.
wow, what a video!...it's amazing how far the debris goes down the mountain..yet the person behind the camera is calm.. there are birds singing..and children playing...it reminds me that even though nature can be destructive, somewhere there is peace!......
Man Mother Nature's such a crackhead mom -she needz to take better care of her kids cuz they're running wild causing all kinds of trouble. Just look at Katrina or how bout the south Asia tsunami. Instead of takin' care of dem kids she around da corner doin sexual favors to get some more crack rocks. Jk Lol I'll stop now.
It would be cool to see a volcano like that close up. So far in my life the only volcanic eruption I have seen was St. Helens in 1980 from Olympia, WA. It wasn't as colorful, more like a huge thunderstorm. If I were as close to that as are you are to this one I would not be here typing this.
I would probably kill to see one of these in real life. I would do what the dude below me said.` That shit is just incredible, a hell of a story to tell your friend.
What a sight! Most people say they'd run. I have to admit I was trying to work out how close I could go and get away with it! (I've seen several modest eruptions from close to). I watched Etna doing this from a distance in 2001: suddenly the eruption got larger & I started throwing camera gear etc into the car... fortunately it never really threatened!
PS: I don't think even Dubya with his hotline to God could control a volcano!
Wow! Volcano's power and effects can dwarf any effort of mankind. They can release the power of hundreds of atomic bombs in moments and stay active for centuries. While I pray for the safety and welfare of the people affected, I also am thankful that no really big eruptions have happened in recorded history. (Like the Yellowstone super volcano).

Please watch my video.
It's about climate change, earth catastrophe and our planet as we lives in.
Recent Earth catastrophes, it's about Earth Changes - Continental Drift: One huge continent became 2 continents,
then 5 (or 6) and then?

Funny ironie is that without vulcanos there wouldn't be any life on earth today and the planet would turn into one big ocean.
