  • Thanks for posting! Great help..

  • Most of these torches have been found to be frauds and there is a small battery in it! There would not be enough power for the bulb with that small coil and the movement.

  • @sorova true

  • @sorova That "battery" would be called a "capacitor", which temporarily stores electricity produced by the movement of the magnet through the coil.

  • @laurenceable67 No, it's not a capacitor it's a real battery. I saw a TV show about it. Once the battery runs down tha's it.

  • thanks ! really helped me !!

  • Yeah like someone else said, the explanation at the end explaining how the torch works is misleading. You only explain how the electricity is made, not how it is made, and then stored for future use - Turning on the light bulb. If it worked how you showed it worked there would be no use for a switch.

  • fantastic my dear friend mind blowing ...keep it up thanx alot

  • You have done a excelllent job , it is very nice to try to explain with grafic and animation , I'm hopping that you continue doing more of this kind of work.

Thank , I used this video to show to my students how electricity and the Magnetic field are related with one each other.

Thanks keep up a good works.!!!

  • Thanks for your feedback, it is helpful as we refine these. This was discussed during scripting. As you point out, the actual flashlight has a capacitor and rectifier circuit, and uses an LED, not a light bulb. Because we were trying to reach an audience at a very introductory level, we simplified things, perhaps overly. The plan is to accompany the videos with background documents, one of which will be an explanation of the actual circuit, introducing diodes and capacitors.

  • That was very misleading, it is going to give the false impression that the coil becomes charged.

Your circuit is missing diodes and a capacitor to store the charge generated by the magnet and coil.

  • This kind of lamp "china's" and fake I had one.Induction is,' exist, but not in this thing. Don't forget the battery is there. May be it will work if you are put all cable rightly and shake it all day.

  • thnks 4 uploading this!
