best tip. dont buy one. these things are sadistic and most people hate hearing these things specially since it hurts your ears and can cause perminent hearing damage.

heres a better tip than preparing your thunder b's...buy the generation 2 or 3's people....much better..ive had say 15 go off, none have been duds, and i have not replaced anything. Also personally I think they look much more legit then generation 1s.

i figured out how to make the spring have more tension. you do this by lifting these two little end pieces up and gluing in place, they are found in the place where the hammer goes back to when setting up the grenade. it you look you will know what i mean

@shmellhole123 Thank You so much man...i've had roughly 80 shells of the same grenade go off and after about 50 the spring started to not pierce the co2 canister much...so it would take like 20 seconds or more for it to go off. So i took the spring off and hot glued a little ledge where the ends of the spring come out. I put it back together and what do you know! About 3-6 seconds apon release!

just got some the other day. the only thing is that i am having a lot of trouble with the co2 cartage being punctured enough on the first drop of the pin. i always have to slam it twice for it to puncture all the way. I am using daisy co2, have any suggestions on how to fix this? i have tried the penny trick, and it doesn't work.

haha i used mine and when i screwed the top in it was to tight and when it exploded the threaded part of the shell stayed in and it took 3 weeks to get out from AIRSOFT TECH!!!! and they are way to tempermentle like i used up 4 co2 cans getting it screwed on....can soemone help ,me find out why my c02 is leaking when i put it in...i am doing it very gently too

One thing I did was to tie a piece of bright orange paracord around the pins, so if they drop on the field, they are easily located and identified. You can also use a long florescent colored zip tie.

These are well worth it, I've been using them at indoor games and they are fantastic. Extremely loud, there's no mistake that you've been hit when it goes off. An advantage I've found with these over pyro is that you don't get the lit pyro smoke/fire giving it away as you throw it, which often makes the pyro ones easy to avoid, especially when there's rooms you can quickly run into.

But yeah anyone thinking of getting these, go for it they are worth it!

Would it be possible for you to do another video on the firing mechanism specifically? I tried using your method of screwing on the knurled black cap first then inserting the firing ''top hat'' however if you look inside the knurled piece, the thread depth is different on either half of the piece since the diameter of the silver Co2 cylinder is smaller in diameter than the firing mechanism piece. (Much harder to explain in words...LOL)

another good way to use theses is to make a simple trip fire from some fishing line. works a treat and saves you money instead of buying the far more expensive claymores and land mines

Nice video. Question: How many of the plastic(nylon) washers go into the the mechanism. On the video you show one going on the pin mechanism, "pin side", but then when you place the pin back in the washer is not there. There does appear to be a washer under the black knurled piece that screws in. Even after the mods I'm still having problems with mine. I only have one washer, so I'm wondering if adding a second will fix the problem. Thanks.

hi, i really like you vid very useful tips, never thought about the drilling.. but i have a problem with mine, i tried the coin at the bottom but still not firing, i also drilled a hole and the first test was pretty quick you werent kidding about the very few seconds before detenation... my problem is that the hammer is not hitting the sharp thing hard enough to punture it... is there any tips that would help me??? thanks a bunch...
