You don't have to be extremely thin, to be anorexic. It is a MENTAL ILLNESS. Okay, so most anorexics are overly thin, but not all. You guys have to stop saying that she's not ill. If she doesn't feel well within her own body and mind. Then she is ill.

Sorry I'm in the medical field. If you were anorexic these photos are not a part of any sort of recovery or proof pf being ill. You look like a normal prepubescent girl. I looked exactly like you at that age in fact I was probably smaller. Nothing about these photos says you were sick. Your hair is thick and shiny, you face is not sunken in, you don't have protruding bones, your limbs are in proportion, your thighs are a good size, I could keep going.

I didnt tell anyone no one knew. it was sad because i was so young. i just feel lucky that i overcame it and it only lasted for the short time it did.

Secondly just because other kids are naturally thin doesn't mean she was - Not all people with serious eating disorders look like skeletons. Everybody needs to just leave her alone. This is a video of her when she is recovering and has obviously put weight on. You have no idea about her life. I'm 5'8'' and at my lowest weight I was 103. After being hospitalized and with a lot of support from friends and family I am getting better and I am at 129lbs. If I posted pictures of my self in recovery would you tell me that I never had an eating disorder? You have no idea what we go through. Just be happy that she is getting healthy

@psychocutie6 girls as young as 8 get diagnosed with eating disorders, the age gets younger and younger, it doesn't matter how old she is. She is sending encouragement to many young and old people with or without eating disorders that they can overcome them and get better. You can gain weight at any age. @psychocutie6 Anorexia affects younger and younger girls every year. Not eating or any disorder like this (Anorexia, Bulimia) can affect the onset of puberty. If you aren't eating properly, you won't hit puberty and your body won't change like it should. Girls who have gone through puberty and become anorexic or bulimic frequently stop having their periods.
Hey, ignore everyone who's saying stuff about you just having a fast metabolism. My sister has a fast metabolism, and it's completely different. If you're living the life, you know the difference. When she was around your age all she did was eat because her metabolism ran so fast. There's definitely no mistaking the two.

For the record and the purpose of education: people with eating disorders come in all shapes and sizes. Having an eating disorder has absolutely NOTHING to do with your weight or your appearance. Only ignorant people who know nothing about eating disorders would think it has to do with your weight. Everybody needs to just leave her alone. This is a video of her when she is recovering and has obviously put weight on. You have no idea about her life. I'm 5'8'' and at my lowest weight I was 103. After being hospitalized and with a lot of support from friends and family I am getting better and I am at 129lbs. If I posted pictures of my self in recovery would you tell me that I never had an eating disorder? You have no idea what we go through. Just be happy that she is getting healthy

You may say you eat very little or nothing at all, but you probably engorge yourself in fruity pebbles every morning. There are younger kids with anorexia. This girl is in like, 7th grade, and the pictures were taken overtime. Not just in a bunch of little outfits. Hmm, your smart, aren't you?

@spazlikeataz high metabolism? you sure about that?? you don't know a thing about this girl. my ED started at age 10 and i did NOT have a fast metabolism whatsoever. this girl was 13 in the video and a girl at 13 with a fast metabolism, no matter how skinny, would not have bones protruding out that badly unless she had an ED...which this girl did. if you didn't see it with your own eyes or hear it with your own ears, don't invent it with your small mind and share it with your big mouth.

She is sending encouragement to many young and old people with or without eating disorders that they can overcome them and get better. You can gain weight at any age. @psychocutie6 Anorexia affects younger and younger girls every year. Not eating or any disorder like this (Anorexia, Bulimia) can affect the onset of puberty. If you aren't eating properly, you won't hit puberty and your body won't change like it should. Girls who have gone through puberty and become anorexic or bulimic frequently stop having their periods.

Hey, ignore everyone who's saying stuff about you just having a fast metabolism. My sister has a fast metabolism, and it's completely different. If you're living the life, you know the difference. When she was around your age all she did was eat because her metabolism ran so fast. There's definitely no mistaking the two.
