@jdmerf72 I've been skating on mine for a while(about a month). I wouldn't dream of taking the buckle off and the break in was not traumatic like i had thought it would be. The wheels though I was not a fan of. I took them off and put on some fugitives. I love love love my skates.
@jdmerf72 They're not taking the buckle off, the buckle was discontinued. New 911's still have the piece of leather where the buckle goes, but no buckle. You can always add one to any overlay skate, if you wish (ask your skate shop technician).
How much were they?

Ok so I have not skated in them but my 911 got here and so far I love them. I do now know though why people take the buckle off

How do you like your 911's? I skate a lot and my cheap skates just broke and i have been looking to buy the 911's for a while.
