The people who argue against ARV's are basically saying that proper nutrition is the only thing you need to battle HIV... if that were true, HIV wouldn't be any more of a threat to our lives than the common cold. In Africa the life span is much lower and proper nutrition is scarce. If you were going to live with HIV and horrible nutrition and toxins (ARV's) to keep you alive, I can see people choosing good nutrition and no toxins and take your chances with HIV. That's really all this means.

OMG, this is murder. I don't think the government should beable to force you to give your child a treatment that is making your child ill, and that is killing others on the treatment. If I were in this position I would fight tooth and nail, and to think they can just take your baby away from you just like that! And, then go and "treat" the baby so it can die a miserable death. There is plenty of evidence that HIV causes AIDS, now even Duesberg admits it's a major factor.

All the dead deniers is a subtle hint that perhaps the Duesberg hypothesis is flawed.

I'm the first to admit it's probably man-made and the drug industry is too politically and financially motivated to find a cure but HIV does cause AIDS unfortunately.

@mykoolaidtastesfunny I would love the Duesberg hypothesis to be correct. I'm still undecided to an extent because many of the anti-Duesberg crowd also lump in the vaccination/autism link with belief in aliens etc when vaccinations are proven to cause autism.

I'm also familiar with the evil pharmaceutical industry killing us like Baxter and the H5N1 scandal, Bayer and AIDS, toxic swine flu jabs etc, so I'm not anti Duesberg, I just need more evidence.

@pixarian72 You are delusional about Duesberg. Watch the video from beginning to end. The "HIV causes AIDS" crowd never answers any of the "10 reasons why HIV doesn't cause AIDS" section of the video, nor why the "massive (and lucrative) research" has accomplished nothing.

This video doesn't deny that AIDS exists. It provides ample evidence that AIDS is not caused by the HIV virus! Are you claiming that these "deniers (of what?)" would have lived had they believed that HIV causes AIDS?

I ask again: what were these "dead deniers" denying? What do "dead deniers" have to do with the CAUSE of AIDS? I do not deny the existence of AIDS or AIDS related illnesses, neither does the film. How does the existence of these "dead deniers" imply that AIDS is caused by HIV and not something else?

The Duesberg hypothesis states that AIDS is caused by Anal sex, Drug use and the HAART therapy itself.

The Dead deniers are people that died young of AIDS related llnesses. no drug use, promiscuity or HAART. As a group they represent a statistically unlikely occurrence of such illnesses, they were all HIV+.

Where is your evidence that none of these people were promiscuous, etc.? This site is not scientific, it is anecdotal.

I would point out that in order for HIV to be the cause of AIDS, it would have to be present in ALL AIDS (T-cell depletion) patients-but it isn't! Furthermore, HIV infection affects about 1/1000 of the T-cells. How can this cause the death of more than half of them?

The "deniers"who died all had underlying health issues. They weren't necessarily "drug free". A few died of KS which is caused by poppers. Didn't you watc this video? Another one was a rampant alcoholic who was found dead in his car next to an open bottle. Also...."hiv+" based on what test? Gallo's test. And what did Gallo us to compare his test to to validate it? Oh yeah..NOTHING.

He reports that images wanted for the Science papers, do.....NOT.....contain "HIV" as Gallo had claimed, but only cellular rubbish. This was received only 3 days before Gallo sent in the Science papers for publication, When the papers appeared in print, they still contained photos credited to Gonda, with Gallo saying they contain HIV.

@pixarian72I notice that no statistics are cited at this site, only anecdotes. You are mixing up people that deny the existence of AIDS with people that deny that AIDS is caused by HIV. I believe that AIDS exists but is not caused by HIV. The fact is, some people that actually have AIDS will also test positive for HIV (some do not, however). This is unsurprising since AIDS patients have immune systems that are breaking down! They will test positive for a great many other viruses too.
