I love it when someone does a version of a song which makes me almost think I'm hearing that song for the first time. It's like finding a good friend again after a long break and knowing that you'll always be good friends no matter the distance. I love it.

Well, just found this and for a 'ruf' demo as you refer to it, it's pretty bleeding good actually. Backing band on this and you on acoustic? This song is a favourite of many of JOhns fans and strikes well home with me anall'.
Exquisite vocals again, must be said, and overall a really good solid treatment of this classic song in my opinion.
