i actually liked this game myself...the story is horrible and the characters aren't how they use to be but i liked the gameplay and Dark Daxter as implausible as he is...to me Jak X is the worst

I doubt Jak would've had an issue with Dark Dax, he knows what its like and it doesn't have any adverse effects on his health or personality so why would it be an issue? (Its dub and fanficcy anyway =/)
The Daxter rant at the ending was AMAZING! That is pure Dax. xD
this was a real letdown. I remember when Jak had a badass voice and deadly goatee, when you could free-roam a large city, when there was deadly precursor metal everywhere and a deadly voice, when Jak was the only one who could go Dark, and he had pro Dark Jak moves, when the bad guys were complete bosses, I remember when Keira was strangely hot for a ps2 game character, I remember when the story lines tied in with eachother, when Daxter made funny, slightly sexual puns. I miss the good ol days
@lolman3121 i think its more of the fact he cant transform at all but the reason they focus on dark jak transformation is because its easiest for him, its channeled thru anger and on an adventure such as this its easy to become angry
@lolman3121 dark jak was stabilized in jak 3, when the precursor robot gave him light jak to counter dark jak and stabilize all of him, so dark jak is stable too, but its all about no transformations at all, altho i could be wrong and the only reason im so defensive of this is because dark jak is my favorite lol

I have a question .....what the hell happened to jaks light powers i haven't played jak x so im not sure if anything important happened during that game but he should still have them. Also y cant jak use his dark powers on a regular bases? i believe the only repercussions of him using them in the 2 and 3rd game was a massive headache so i'm kinda lost. i appreciate the posting of the cut scenes but this game is making the series confusing.

Wow. There has been alot of comments about how horrible this game is but there are only 7 dislikes and 122 likes! Just get use to the new gameplay and graphics! If you think about it, The real quest in the first place was just trying to turn daxter back into his original form! now they don't even say anything about it!

Jak 2 & 3 had a major plothole which only naughty dog can fix ***spoiler*** since jak turns out to be mar as we find out near the end of jak 3 that means he has to somehow go back in time and build haven city,the tomb,the mines, etc etc we also know that his father used to rule it until praxis kicked him out but I'm not sure how relevant that is to the plothole
I liked this game. Honestly, what can you expect? It was made for the PSP. I played it on the PS2 for control purposes, but I knew it would be a fairly clumsy port.
I don't know, I don't think the while sky pirates thing meshed well with the feel of the series. Everyone in this game is pretty outta character. As a stand alone game it's OKAY, but compared to the other amazing games of the series, this game doesn't even compare.
Hopefully, since judging from the ending there will be another game, the next one will be by NaughtyDog.
The only real thing I can't stand are Pirates becoming a great topic, Ratchet's quest for booty. Overall, pirates seem cool on their own, not joined together, but I guess it's story being mixed with Jak ain't that bad. That's right, I hate pirates so much, I used a word that doesn't exist... as far as I know. Ain't.

the game was made by high impact games with a handfull of naughty dog people there preparing it for when they make jak and daxter for the ps3 which is supposed to come around sometime after they finish with uncharted it wasnt there best one by far but hopefully once its put on the ps3 itll be better

Thanks for posting these videos. I wasn't so hyped on this game because ND didn't make it so I just viewed these cutscenes. But wow watching these cutscenes is like watching a movie, I guess it was because this game is more linear compared to the other games. It was a great story though, and I was impressed by the final boss' design. Plus, Jak's new voice actually didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. And I like how deep the story got in terms of the Jak universe. Thank you very much.
in my opinion its a pretty decent game. of course it doesnt compare to the original series. If naughtydog decided to create this game it would have been way better! but sadly they let highimpact games create it. i dont think they ruined the series either. yeah the game was totally different and i was upset with the voice change, but overall i am pretty happy with the results and i absolutely love the way Keira turned out in this game! its a decent game but nothing compared to the originals....
also, this game was just a disappointment. if any new jak games come out that aren't made by naughtydog, ive accepted theyll b a piece of shit. unfortunately, i dont have a ps3, so if they make a ps3 game, ill have 2 spend $200 just to play it :P

I didn't have high enough hopes for this game to actually play it after the first three, so I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to compile and upload all these cut scenes so I could see the plot! This game had potential but it just failed. The animation and voices are lackluster and the plot has just been done. Plus, how could you make a Jak and Daxter game without Samos?

the cutscenes are a tad better in quality ( as in it looks better) but the plot was to me really shallow and ultimately this game was totally disappointing. Combat system sucked and they didn't even utilize all of the buttons because it's basically a direct port off PSP. When this game came out I had high hopes for it even though it was no made by ND but there was so much more that they could have done with this :( ND needs to make a new Jak game, they owe it to the fans

I don`t really like this game: Jak`s "gunstaff" is a lame weapon, and Keira is`nt babe anymore :( not to mention that I screwed up during the mission where you fly after Skyheed (or whatever), I chose the Hellcat, and it sucks :(:(
Why cover it up? It was a good game, the story was a little bit dry compared to the first three but I still enjoyed it. My only honest to God complaint is the issues with the camera.

Jak and Daxter have always been a team and they've always been best friends, together through thick and thin and in this one, Jak leaves him behind and doesnt care when he gors all Dark Dax (wtf at dark dax btw) and he bosses him around like a pet.
Also, any witty remark was already done in the previous games. This one is unoriginal and weak.

This is an opportunity for Naughty Dog to step in and make up for this ggame , considering letting a different company continue the series was obviously a big mistake. Keira seems Mary-Sue.

The only real thing I can't stand are Pirates becoming a great topic, Ratchet's quest for booty. Overall, pirates seem cool on their own, not joined together, but I guess it's story being mixed with Jak ain't that bad. That's right, I hate pirates so much, I used a word that doesn't exist... as far as I know. Ain't.

Did anyone else stand in the pools of Dark Eco during this boss fight to see if Jak would suddenly go Dark? Because I sure as hell did.
And boy was I SEVERELY dissapointed when nothing happened.

I haven't even played the damn game, and it looks like complete crap! At least the game Daxter had a decent storyline and background and whatnot. I'm gonna blame High Impact, cause I still don't wanna give up on Naughty Dog, but they better make up for this crap if they make another game. It's bad enought that they didn't stop at Jak X. They at least should have let you get Dark and Light Jak in here...

I swear I will hate Sony if ND makes no other J&D game. They said it´s possible they make it after Uncharted, but they need more ressources from Sony. They would like to make it for PS3. But right now they don´t have enough ressources, so they can´t work on a second project...Sony, don´t make baaad mistakes >I8-[]

Instead of skyhed retreating to his ship he continues to fight but a dark echo blast was so unstable wheen it hit jak,
jak began draw dark eco when.... Dark Jak returns!!!!!! you can make up the rest

the game was made by high impact games with a handfull of naughty dog people there preparing it for when they make jak and daxter for the ps3 which is supposed to come around sometime after they finish with uncharted it wasnt there best one by far but hopefully once its put on the ps3 itll be better

Thanks for posting these videos. I wasn't so hyped on this game because ND didn't make it so I just viewed these cutscenes. But wow watching these cutscenes is like watching a movie, I guess it was because this game is more linear compared to the other games. It was a great story though, and I was impressed by the final boss' design. Plus, Jak's new voice actually didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. And I like how deep the story got in terms of the Jak universe. Thank you very much.

in my opinion its a pretty decent game. of course it doesnt compare to the original series. If naughtydog decided to create this game it would have been way better! but sadly they let highimpact games create it. i dont think they ruined the series either. yeah the game was totally different and i was upset with the voice change, but overall i am pretty happy with the results and i absolutely love the way Keira turned out in this game! its a decent game but nothing compared to the originals....

I didn't have high enough hopes for this game to actually play it after the first three, so I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to compile and upload all these cut scenes so I could see the plot! I know you must get tired of people arguing and talking trash on these videos, but I appreciate the effort you put out, even though the game itself left much to be desired. Thanks dude!

the cutscenes are a tad better in quality ( as in it looks better) but the plot was to me really shallow and ultimately this game was totally disappointing. Combat system sucked and they didn't even utilize all of the buttons because it's basically a direct port off PSP. When this game came out I had high hopes for it even though it was no made by ND but there was so much more that they could have done with this :( ND needs to make a new Jak game, they owe it to the fans

when i purchased this game, i had hope it would be as awesome as jak 1, 2 and 3 but once i seen this p.o.s i puked in my mouth, brought it back and forced a refund. this game was an insult. naughty dog was what made jak and daxter, jak and daxter. this game is just gross. i will be dissapointed if the next game isnt by naughty dog. even jak and daxter and the precurser legacy had 5x better graphics then this. also, the story line is horrible. this game was a mistake.

@hovo71321 probably jak x, im pretty much assuming this, but they did 4 ratchet and clank games, made a psp ratchet and clank, then continued on ps3. there were 4 jak and daxters, a psp one made by the same ones as size matters(ratchetandclank) so im assuming...hope i didnt get your hopes up

@KennethMoreland the game takes away so many staples that made the series great. the story, voice acting, slick platforming, open world gameplay...high impact games messed up the series. it made no sense why ready at dawn didnt make this game, they were amazing at making daxter and god of war on psp...this was a bad game.

I don`t really like this game: Jak`s "gunstaff" is a lame weapon, and Keira is`nt babe anymore :( not to mention that I screwed up during the mission where you fly after Skyheed (or whatever), I chose the Hellcat, and it sucks :(:(

Why cover it up? It was a good game, the story was a little bit dry compared to the first three but I still enjoyed it. My only honest to God complaint is the issues with the camera.

dude i dont like this game. they left out so much in the storyline so it wasnt as dramatic as they previous J&D games. and wat the hell happened to the rest of the characters in the series, i mean comon i would hav made sense to put samos in the game at least. and the only bad word they put in the game is the word 'damn' .... @jakenmonkeytoad not only did they leave out the good characters, but they got jak all wrong and they made everyone treat Daxter like dirt. Jak and Daxter have always been a team and they've always been best friends, together through thick and thin and in this one, Jak leaves him behind and doesnt care when he gors all Dark Dax (wtf at dark dax btw) and he bosses him around like a pet.
Also, any witty remark was already done in the previous games. This one is unoriginal and weak.

This is an opportunity for Naughty Dog to step in and make up for this ggame , considering letting a different company continue the series was obviously a big mistake. They'll make a new game where Jak isn't a douchebag with unoriginal cheesy lines, Torn <3 , new characters that don't SUCK (though I kiiiinda like Phoenix), and where the bromance still exists!! <3
