@3xcortyaself yes mack's are tough...as for Volvos?? here in Mexico we prefer Mack, kenworth, peterbilt or international over Volvo!

i have seen new or late model volvos waithing for the tow truck or in the junkjard!!

as for Mack's old and still macking money! (with Mack, Cummins,Cat and DD).

(we have all saw euro truck's-volvos, scania, etc. and american truck's beat them fair and square! even Vollswagen ho makes trucks with cummins and eaton axels here is selling more).

A guy at my work said "Mack used to have balls, now they have Volvos!" Volvo needs to find better engineers to design their trucks. Who wants a truck that breaks down every month and spends two weeks in the shop?

@clm64 no i got a 3406e 550hp and with 120,000 + lbs on you don't even know its back there and even my c12 cat nothing but power i had a big cam 3 i liked it but when i cat my cat i will never go back

@TheArmyman187 the isx15 showen here can make 600 hp stock so if you CAT can pull 120,000 like you say like its nothing this thing would drag your truck with your trailer on it i have worked on both engines let me ask you this with you 3406E being turned up to 550 hp how menys gears you got to drop to keep the EGT's down to keep from melting a hole in the pistons see there is were stock more HP is better then turned up HP

@TheArmyman187 ok then how come you come on to a cummims vid if you don't like them but yes the mp7-8 engines are junk but the cummins are the work horses and if you truck is the 550hp its not a 3406e it was only 475 stock its the c15 there is a diff yep my 83 ford with a 300 big cam did 3 more loads then the trucks with a cat in them and one of them are the c15 twin turbo engine but as far as truckers go most of the say the D name is the best on the road but its what each person likes i guess

@clm64 Yeah i can see where you are coming from all i am saying is i have had better luck with cat than anything else you know i like the older cummins my dad had a peterbilt 359 with a big cam 3 and i loved it but all i run is cat now but cat has issues right now because they are just now now useing emissons but so yeah right now i think the isx is out doing the cat only because they haven't put the new style exsaust on let but cat is off the road because they are building there own truck

@clm64 Yeah well cats thing they were running the emissions there a screen you know like what they do with coal but then the goverment told them to get some thing better even thow the air was going in to the motor dirtier than coming out so now the are building a emissions motor tha has the same power that there manule motors had back in the day you know

NOT in NORTH AMERICA. There is NO CUMMINS option for the NORTH AMERICAN market for the MACK brand. Sadly, Mack is stuck with the Volvo Powertrain in North America.
