@firetack There is exactly 33 that are available for you to remove from the walls. It took me 4 tries to do it because I would keep missing one or two, even though they were in plain sight, and even though I've actually gotten those particular ones before. Just take it slow, and you'll get them all. Or you could just leave this video open in your browser, start the game, and press Ctrl Alt & Delete to exit the game (without stopping it) and come back to this video, and watch it level by level.

I got this achievement by only getting 32 actual cameras. You can get the one at the very end of Chamber 18 if you put the place portal cheat on.

Aaw man. The PS3 version doesn't have any achievements for Portal :(. Only Portal 2 has achievements made for the PS3.

I got through every flippin' chamber, and the last camera I got I was like "YAY!" but then I realized I hadn't got the achievement...I had missed one camera. In chamber 15. So I started a new game and went back to get it and I realized I had to do the entire game over again...ffffuuuu-- I wanted to mashy spike plate someone in the face.

You know... I played through portal 3 times, never missed camera 25... 4th time was my camera run... and missed it... almost an hour and a half wasted since the PC version resets your progress on that achiev when you start a new game.

@MrModmax i love consoles but i was on steam the other day playing games and your right there are a lot of benefits with pc gaming. the graphics a lot of the time are better on pc and ive seen a lot of games that are cheaper on pc than they are on consoles. im not hating on consoles because i mostly play on my consoles more than my computer but it can be better sometimes.

But how could you not find portal 1 fun? even if it's short (depending on whether or not you had played it before) it still is fun and often gripping/challenging. I tend to just screw around in the chambers, like taking every single movable object through the beam fieldy thing (forgot the name)

For the cameras at 7:00, I seriously spend about 10 minutes trying to hold a cube at an angle to redirect the energy balls into a camera. The energy ball would bounce around the hallways like crazy and often came close to the cameras but never actually hit one.
