  • I know crap when I see it. But luckily I'm a coprophagiac

  • Nick Drake is spinning in his grave.

  • @BobDylansPet he's spinning over to give sebadoh a \m/ and rock out.

  • Dinosaur is a BAND!

    Sebadoh is a BAND!

If you have only heard their CDs, you would assume that their "creative mind" is one person.

All three guys, IN BOTH BANDS are "The" epicenter.

It took me awhile to realize that some of my favorite Sebadoh songs were sang but the drummer.

Some of my favorite Jr. was coming from the bass player!

    Klein can sing!

    Willie can write!

  • As a youg man I found Lou and felt a connection.

Like he and I were just sitting in his room and he was playing, for me, his soul.

As an older young man I found Nick and felt a connection.

Like my dad, he and I were just sitting in his room and he was playing, for us, his soul.

I am willing to bet that if you don't care about Drake, Barlow don't care what you care about.

    Go-Fi-uckyourselves!

  • After watching a very drippy Nick Drake cover show it's nice to see a reminder of just how a good cover actually can add something to the original instead of being a wet homage...

  • best cover ever!

  • brilliant

  • This band has been ruling my life for a week now.

  • I love this album and Harmacy the most out of the Sebadoh tribe, Folk Implosion had some amazing stuff but i prefer the first two albums, and Lou`s solo album EMOH is really good.

  • @dropd26 Barlow was/is so underused in Dinosaur that its criminal.

  • I heard that`s one of the reason he left Dinosaur was the classic not being able to get enough of his music out there because other musician (J) wasn`t letting him. Same thing happenned with the Pixies with Frank Black and Kim Deal.

  • It's a sucky way to treat bandmates, but it kinda worked out, because it created Sebadoh and the Breeders.

  • Yeah it kinda spread things out, I wonder though what the Pixies would`ve been like with more of Deal`s material out there, the life of the band would`ve been longer too. Sebadoh however I don`t really see some of the songs from that being done in a Dinosaur setting maybe it`s just me.

  • @dropd26 No you're right! I can't see ANY of sebadoh's stuff fitting in with Dinosaur.

  • @dropd26 he didnt leave dinosaur he was kicked out

  • @dropd26 Yeh, but listen to Barlow's Sebadoh stuff compared to Dinosaur Jr: it doesn't really fit. And Kim Deal is the same thing, she was just the bassist, Frank Black was the frontman, atleast he let her have any songs at all. You didn't see Joey complaining that he didn't get to have any songs on the albums, he was happy just bringing Frank's songs to life.

  • @dasnake1234 That`s an ok viewpoint to have but I feel that in every truly great band they are great because of those people being in that same room together making music and each person is important to the whole thing running so smoothly so it just puts me off when I see other songwriters being kind of cast aside, especially when they go off into other bands and we see that obviously both Kim and Lou have songwriting talent.

  • @dasnake1234 That`s like if you like both Sebadoh AND Dinosaur then imagine how much cooler Dinosaur could have been with more quality songs coming out on top of what was already there and the same thing for The Pixies. Just the way I see it.

  • @dropd26 True.
