Currently I live in the UK (fo 8 years) and will be coming home too Canada later this month too stay. I found a Queen Victoria coin over here and others have found old Roman coins which is Treasure stuff and worth a bit, if they are in certain conditions and recognisable. Keep up the good work and even though you find modern coins you attitude is good an show understanding of what you find. Keep the dector low and slow on a swing and only go as forwards as the diameter of you detector.Good Luck
Hey, I've detected for a bit, make sure you keep it as low too the ground as possible and don't swing too fast. The Great Lakes have a lot of ship wrecks stuff wash ashore all the time.Fiar grounds, like one called Crystal Beach off Lake Erie hasd been around for a lot of years.Never throw any thing of a coin away, take i too a museum or collector and have it checked out,you never know what piece of history you can find.
The part of your video at the end where you have all your findings on the table, the piece of metal you picked up with 4 holes in it, Say's Fender, it is the plate that holds the guitar neck on a fender stratocaster or telecaster. Interesting find. I miss Sarnia, need to go back and visit some day!
your welcome. enjoy your hobby :) I was born and raised there, lived there 26 years but now living up near Kirkland Lake. My father and I used to do some metal detecting on Canatera beach.
Nice video. Your holes would be smaller if you use that pinpointer before you dig. Some of your coins are right under the grass. Nice Chinese coin too.
Great video! Congrats on all your finds and good luck on your next hunt. Hey guy you need to hunt that old fair ground again if it a 100 year old fairground there will be alot of newer coins on top of the old. A little tip i will give you is listen for your deep signal, when you pinpoint with your detector, alot of the newer coins won`t be that deep.
Thankyou, we will try and go back in the spring and I will try that technique next time. I was a bit surprised not to find anything because it is so old.
