it was a mistake for them to hide it..maybe (DISCLAIMER::THIS IS JUST MADE UP, SO DONT TAKE IT AS IF IT IS COMPLETELY TRUE) the writers didnt want them to fall more in love..like how angelina jolie and brad pitt did on Mr&Mrs. Smith, since both marg and billy are married (well marg is seperating but whatever)
