Uh yeah he did. Several incidents where he looked way out of his league, l ike kicking the ball straight out, punching the ball when it was easily catchable etc etc. He just looked really panicked. A shame as i dont think he lived up to his potential.

@Dathgo do you know anything about abbiati or his career? he was drafted by AC when he was 13,he went to the club at 16,He was rated as one of the best before he was even a starter! Christian Abbiati is one of the best keepers in the game of soccer. Of course he messes up..hes human,it happens to all of us..and unless your actually a soccer goalie you dont rele understand why he punched or kicked the way he did when he did.

@123soccerkeeper there's no argument about whether he's a good player, its just that in this single game, he was awful and yeah you're right i wouldn't know why he decided to make mistakes like punching the ball when the opposition is in his box and the ball was more than easily catchable, and i'll never know his reasons for putting the ball out of play from a goal kick.

@Dathgo your right..there is no argument that he's good but you cant say it was a mistake to punch those balls unless you know why he REALLY did. As far as the goalkicks go, as a goalie i know they are not the easiest thing to do..any number of things could have put that ball out of play. Wind, a miskick, he couldve accidently hit the ground, or he couldve just seen a different choice for a pass and lost focus...

@jayd2225 si è vero.....è una delle più difficili perchè non la si può fare con la mano di richiamo....tra l'altro quel superparatone è stato fatto da abbiati nel secondo tempo dell'ultima giornata del campionato 98/99.il milan conduceva 2 a 1 e un pareggio sarebbe stato fatale poichè la Lazio(che inseguiva il Milan ad un punto) stava vincendo in casa con il Parma...questa parata vale più di un gol....
