The U.S. is in no way an imperialist country. We are the most benevolent, leading the world in humanitarian aide, when at times we shouldn't. I think our country is far from perfect. China's got their own problems. We've just recently experienced the worst of ours and are slowly but surely making our way back to becoming a more industrial nation. China has yet to experience the full consequences of their overpopulation because their economy has been great (we've been buying from them rather than making our own stuff). But when we begin producing goods made in the USA and start exporting (screw the "service economy") then the U.S. will rise back to its 1950's glory.
