  • Hey - this is an amazing video! Loved the part at the end showing the fish so much, I had to include it on my facebook collection of the best Bahamas fishing videos: facebook [dot] com /pages/Xtreme-Bahamas-Fishing/276144875779766

Hope you get some more views through it - it's one of the better underwater ones I've seen!

  • @KylerTheCreator Well it's kinda cheating if you have a tank.... It defeats the purpose... If ya wanna tank... Just go to the super market

  • no oxygen tank or what?

  • Hawaii Sling, you can find them at almost any fishing shop in the bahamas because the gun is illegal

  • @badmandede i was moving my hips to the water music

  • what kind of speargun is that???

  • Comment removed

  • Wat kind of fish was it

  • AUSSIEESSS!

  • great video dude

  • @rb35 what kind of sling is that ?? is that homw made or we can get it from market ?

  • yeah i go spear fishing often with my girlfriend. one time a shark grabbed my 700 dollar spear off the coast of california, of course i had to jump back in and get it even though my girlfriend didnt want me to. but she cheered me on from the boat while i fought the shark and got my spear back

  • @ihmen you watch 1 too many movies.

  • @ihmen why would a shark keep your spear in its mouth after he realized it wasnt meat? i bet you just jumped back in and saw it laying there after a shark punked you.

  • @rdrums89 there were fish guts and pieces of fish meat on the spear head, i had caught 3 fish before the shark attacked. its a big problem with spear fishing because all the fish blood in the water can attract sharks that are miles away. thats why i have my gf keep a look out.

  • @ihmen piece of meat and guts on it? you using a flopper tip? even though they sometimes take time to take out i havent had meat and guts stuck on my spear so bad i couldent just take it off. were you trying to get the shark to bite the gun? just curious.

  • @rdrums89 they werent big ass pieces of meat, it was little bits still stuck on the spear, even a tiny drop of blood can attract a shark. but im pretty sure the dead fish i was carrying was what attracted the shark. he could have bit my spear gun by mistake and held on to it either because it hooked onto him, or because he tasted the little pieces of fish on it. my theory is the second one because when i got it back it easily came out of the sharks mouth, so i dont think it was hooked.

  • mutton?

  • BRAVO!!!

  • sweet

  • your so lucky im from nj our water sucks

  • @viper14b Im from central NJ and it depends on where your looking I've found that lakes and deep rivers are excelent for spearfishing bass and the accasional carp or even Pike/Musky if you're sneaky enough. Not all spearfishing is done in saltwater.

  • @Stebraul im from monmouth, where do u spear at?

  • Way to spear that fish; hope you eat it and junk.

  • @berserkr452 Down in the Bahamas the locals will very often buy the things you catch as they would've done the same thing.. just saves them the trip I've sold many a lobster or grouper to the local resurants who may not pay top dollar but your not wasting fish.

  • Nice job man, that was a photo finish. My brother and I used to spearfish (freeshaft)all the time near the drop off (30-40 feet) so I know how important it is to get that killshot. Way to go!

  • god damn

  • Hey great fish man, esp on the pole sprear! Well done, LOL the camera chick sounds like a kiwi girl from New Zealand!

  • lmao i live in freeport :) last week i caught a 70 pound amberjack

  • wow that thing must hav been a monster

  • i speared it strait through the gill so it just sank to the bottem did not even try to run but we were in shark infested waters and there was blood every were i was so scared then when we had it on the boat we found out the anchor was still down so some 1 had to get it then when the other guy jumped in there was a 7 foot moray eel in the water he almsot pooped him slef lmaooooooo

  • what type of fins are they.. Mares Avanti tre?

  • Freediving with a polespear. Way to go primitive, you did it like a real man. That is not a cubera.

  • i live in freeport its ileagle to use a spear gun in the bahamas and to use a scuba tank u have to freedive :l

  • @gazmage7 not only that you have to use a Bohemian Sling in place of a speargun... makes it a lot more fun.

  • kool
