Uottawa was not my first choice, seeing as I want to get into fisheries management. Guelph is one of the best natural resources universities in Canada. But I have a daughter, so I must stay close to my home which is Ottawa!
uOttawa is actually pretty good, and I try to stay out of the politics. My clubbing days are over, but if you are into that sort of thing than the market is litterally a stones throw away. Personally, I find that the best thing about Ottawa is the fishing!!
To defend your point, you made false accusations about me and my country. Thank you for your arrogance, I do not believe in social conservatism and it is not popular in my country. 60% of Canadians are left Wing and a majority of the conservative vote comes from the want of a strong economy, not traditional values. You take your generalizations too far my friend. You can continue to believe I am uninformed, but it comes across as arrogant and doesn't really refute arguments. Research ethics.

Awesome University. Everything is nice about it: campus, people, programs, clubs, activities, profs, research-intensity etc. plus it's a top 10 university in canada and top 5 depending on some programs (like research etc.). It also ranks #1 in neurosciences in Canada and in Common Law.

I would argue that judging on the amount of tuition that the students pay for their education, it is hardly communist. @AmSClarinette i attend ottawa u, and i like it! the campus is awesome and theres alot of cool people to meet in rez :) plus its right downtown so its like a walk to the bars when your 19 / a 9 dollar cab ride to quebec. During frosh they bus you to quebec to party because most people are 18
This video makes me so happy and yet so sad at the same time. I was a student at UO years ago and loved every minute of it, only to have it horribly taken away from me. I have never recovered and am still heartbroken to this day. My time at UO was the greatest time of my life and it will never come again. I mourn over what was done to me, yet I will always love the unversity itself (along with the Rideau Centre and the Canal in the winter) and hopefully find peace some day.

Some ppl can't and we aren't spoiled. If I could go to another an another university, I wouldn't be there. We pay very expensive and we get almost nothing. I'm in engineering and we study in classes that haven't changed since 60's, I mean if you study in Desmarais or you're a rich children who doesn't pay tuition, it's normal that you don't see like the majority.
i'm in engineering at ottawau...i don't have a problem studying in an old classroom...
if you don't like it then go to other universities...in fact SITE is a new and mordern building...and i have no problem with the teaching either...by the way..i'm from a third world country and if you're poor...i'm poor's great great grandmother...

By the way, Site is only for those who are in computing engineering and stuff like that. The MAJORITY of engineers have classes in CBY and dont have access to the computers in Site.

They read left to right in that order. Our law school at Ottawa is nowhere near as insane as Osgoode.
