@columbusdinner Cantonese is still the MAIN language spoken. i would estimate that its about 75/25 percent cantonese/english spoken. the locals will always speak Chinese to each other, but its just that a lot of HK people studied and learned English in school due in part to the British occupation. so, many of the younger people will understand or speak English and a lot of older folks wont speak any English at all.
