It actually made him a better player in terms of productivity and he was the pg on the heat when they won the title. But he couldnt put on a show like he did back then... too bad cuz he can still do it

His shooting was on and off and he made some bonehead decisions on the court way to often. As a coach you cannot live with that. What concerns you as a coach are Ws and Ls. Kidd and Nash run teams not shows.
