  • Muslims won a landslide victory to the Tatars in the Battle of AinJalut

  • This looks extremely intense! It reminds me of a similarity of the Braveheart movie...

  • The russians need to figure out how to do trailers. Show it, dont say it

  • Mongols were always outnumbered by enemies in big numbers but they had the best army mobility and tactics. even today ppl study medieval mongols war tactics in us military academy.

  • this isnt second mongol this is called 'the mongol', i watched this on youtube already, about temudjin(changez khan) in english subtitles

  • @182popeye no no no, trailer is the second

    movie name is Mongol

  • . can i watch this in english anywhere?

  • @182popeye

To tell you the truth, you aren't missing much from not understanding what they're saying. It's pretty poor narration.

  • wow, gtta say changez khan was the most ruthless and vicious warrior i have heard of, his empire apparently was way more than that of Alexander the great (also a great warrior). btw did changez convert to islam? are the Mughals his ancestors.

  • @love1994099 your clearly a dumb ass l0l. If this happened hundreds of years ago and china has 1 billion people....that means they didnt have any offspring in the past hundred years?

  • @shichunye

Means they would've all had two children -_-

Still bullshit, but when you call bullshit, you better know what you're talking about.

  • We would love to see how chinese 1 billion people will surrender only 2 and half million of Mongols! very interesting

  • well what you fellow Mongolians think you should do if you were at war with china and were to rebuild the mongol empire?

  • I would pay my money to see this movie in a theater.

  • The following link will bring you to a great documentary about the Mongols.

    /watch?v=SwvIwOgowNQ

  • This looks pretty badass.

  • Oh my god, Nerdgasm.

Holy shit, my SCA dreams are coming true.

  • Despite the retarded comments, this movie looks really well-made.

  • fuk all of u if u tryna dis my king!!! if ur europe or asian or russian or whatever then the great khan is in ur blood russians say that and chinese too. mongols made china, and now look china tryna conquere us, he only tried to conquere because he wanted the world and thats good cus he make the world better and to attack the fuking enemy!!!!the best history of all time

  • @Fnatic2010

Gee, what's with all that foul language? Can't you people talk in a civilized manner???

  • @Finkelgruber I did so. But can't you see that he said "Chinggis was a TURK, asian mongols suck my cock"

He is attacking our nation. How can you be so calm if someone said bad things about your nations and ancestors?

  • @Fnatic2010 That was the reason i got mad about. Sorry if it made you angry. No offence and sorry for my bad language

  • @Fnatic2010

No problem with me. It is just too bad that some attack other nations and cultures with disgusting language

because they are ignorant of other nations - and heir own.

But to retaliate with it in the same way is not making anything better or clearer to them.

Best to just state facts, ...and let those who attack Mongolia and who can only communicate with bad language stew in their own Enormous Stupidity.

  • @AussiePride1977 shut up you aussie prick. The Great Khans were Mongols not Turks.

  • @AussiePride1977

If you would talk in a civilized way maybe someone would listen to you. Now you are just a racist, crude

    teenager.

  • We all must learn to ignore those who attack Mongolia (or any other nation) with racist slurs and foul language, so that they can stew in their own Enormous Stupidity.

  • dude at first the mongols didn't give a shit about the lands they conquered, they were just like: these people have shit, let's kill them. They didn't even want any of the stuff they took, (didn't care for money except for that it could buy them stuff,) and quite often they just discarded valuable stuff like jade, paper and gold out of hand because heck, they didn't need it. In short: Mongols. Kicked. Ass. !

  • i bought Hero on import 2 years before taratino was thinking about bringing it to the USA and I think i will have to get this ASAP

  • Dude Mongol Lord's blood runs in my blood. He was Amir Timur . DAMN RIGHT Motha Fuckers. MONGOL/UZBEKISTAN RULE!

  • history of fucking ancestors of russians

  • Comment removed

  • Not in America? Mongols are going to be sneaking across the border and sneaking it into the Chinese shipments to the U.S. For money YOU JUST WATCH.

  • Holy shit this looks like it could rival 300 in its epicness. Get this shit to the US NOW!

  • they say the mongols had the best cavalary in the known world, but i havnt seen much exept the ones on 1:20

  • @divineonenl

The movie is not how he conquered more land with his great army, its his raise to power in which his horsemen weren't as advanced as the legend.

  • altarickorean dude just get a fuck off with ur Korea

  • Genghis Khan is a korean!

  • @altarickorean hahah He is Mongolian

  • i can say that turkish and mongols are not same nation at all. Completely different.

    Turkish are more arabic...

  • excelent!! great movie, it takes years to arrive to mexico..but it did! its just amazing..!!

  • All praise is due to Allah for making the Mamluks defeat the mongols in many battles and protect Muslim lands from the evil of the mongols. The whole should be grateful to the brave warriors known as Mamluks who stood against the evil mongol empire and defeated them. They proved to the world that the mongols CAN be defeated

  • @Kingofsomething87 What make the Mongol Empire evil? The Mongol Empire was probally the most civilized and tolerable empire ever created. They accepted all religions from Christainity to Hindism and they were also belivers in Diplomacy. Its the Muslim land in the Medieval times that were evil.

  • @Kingofsomething87 Genghis Khan sent abbasators to Muslim lands to try and get trade going. And what do the Muslims do? they kill them. What does Genghis Khan do? He sends more abbasators to try and talk peace, but the Muslims just kill them again. To say that the Mongol Empire was Evil is bullcrap, utter bullcrap.

  • @Kingofsomething87 The Mongol Army was a place of mixed culture and learning. Much better than the medeival muslim lands. THE MONGOL EMPIRE RULES. Next time, think before you let your baised bullshit leave your mouth and get a proper edication you uneducated twat.

  • @Malusregnum listen kid, the mongol empire was evil and the proof of that is that they commited the most horrible of atrocities. They killed millions of CIVILIANS in China and millions of CIVILIANS in Persia. Just because some corrupt governer killed a few merchants and diplomats doesnt give the mongols the right to exterminate entire cities. How are the millions of children Genghis killed responsible for the evil acts of the governer?

  • @Malusregnum And I doubt that you would be so defensive of the dark horde had they attacked your country and exterminated half of its populace. And had the mongol empire been such an advanced and cultured civilization, they would have stood the test of time like the Roman Empire did.

  • @Kingofsomething87 Fool, The Mongols could have killed 100's of Millions of people in China but Genghis Khan spared them because the mongols were belivers in diplomacy unlike place like persia. Its rather kind after looking at what the chinese used to do to the mongols before the empire. They would capture 1000's of Mongols annualy and sell them into slavery, this includes women and children.

  • @Kingofsomething87 As for Persia, they didn't just send one diplomat, they sent 750 unarmed men to talk peace, a few of them was Genghis Khans close friends. But the persians kill them. But Genghis Khan, tryed to settle it diplomatically and sent this time 10 abbasators to the head of state. They all got killed again. I admit, the mongol conquest of persia was brutel but that doesn't mean the mongols were evil barbarians murderous who always wanted a war.

  • @Kingofsomething87he didn't want a bloody war with Persia, he only wanted to trade with them. If the Mongols attacked my country and exterminated half its population, i would still be proud that my country was once part of the mongol empire, This is how China feels, the view Genghis Khan and the mongol empire as a hero and advanced state.

  • @Kingofsomething87The Roman empire only lasted 500 years because they had no proper enemy to challange them, and even then they fell to barbarians that were heavily outnumbered by the Romans. How long do you think the Roman empire would last against a country like China, whose army was way more advanced and bigger than Romes. I'd say 1 year would have been lucky.

  • @Malusregnum Saying that the Chinese army of the time would've defeated the Romans is just bullshit. BTW they had roughly even populations at that time - don't forget Romans controlled lots of Egypt, North Africa, Turkey (Big population centres.)

And what are you basing it on when you say the Chinese army was more 'advanced and bigger' than Romans?? AFAIK, Romans had one of the strongest steels until Toledo and Damascus steel of the medieval times...

  • And yer, the roman army and chinese army are roughly the same size, its just the chinese isn't split into legions like the romans, they just have one massive army while the romans split it into legions, but that deosn't really matter. The chinese also had a better understanding with medicine and chemicals which can help them in war. I agree, the roman army was strong, but i think the chinese army is stronger.

  • @hecktick133 @hecktick133 I understand where your coming from, i ain't denieing that the Roman military was on of the strongest armies in history as they clearly were, soz if my comment made it sound as if the were weak, i was just frustrated at Kingofsomething87, But I still think that the chinese army would have defeated the romans, the chinese had developed armour peicing crossbows, they even had rapid-firing crossbow that could fire one bolt every 3 seconds.

  • @Malusregnum Dude the Hans are stronger. I am tired of people thinking Romans can take on the Mongols, or even the Spartans..Lol give me a break. Over hyped. And the Han empire are larger then the Roman empire.

  • @JacobTheIndoAmerican Why not? Alexander the Great defeated the armies of a kingdom similar to the mongols. Why can't the Romans do the same. And size has nothing to do with this what so ever. The British Isles made the largest Empire in history and that was because of many other factors, not size. But to be honest, it would be an interesting war between the Mongols and the Romans. Both can adapt, both have their strenghts and weaknesses.

  • @Malusregnum Alexander never went back to fight those tribe again. Size does have do with this. That mean that empire conquered a wide range of land with much diverse armies.Mongols faced the samurais of Japan to the Polish. And Russians to the Egyptians and Indians. Eastern Roman tactics were used mostly for armies of the Barbadians. The eastern Romans dropped those tactics of the western part, because they faced people that used horse archers and are fast moving like the Arabs and the Turks.

  • @Malusregnum British started out small, just like the Mongols, just like all empires for that matter. I am talking about what Mongols in the end obtained. Its final large stage. And get this the British empire was 33.7 millionK2 and the Mongols 33.0 million km2. You find that impressive what the mongols did 600 or so years before the British empire?Because I do. Just 700,000 difference. Thats like Pakistan.

  • @Malusregnum A better match would be Mongol empire vs Arab Caliphate. Both fast moving and the best horsemen the world produced..

  • @JacobTheIndoAmerican In Violence, yes.

  • @JacobTheIndoAmerican the arabs ( underrated in western history) proved to be a match for the mongols......ive read history back to front and the arabs defeated the mongols ( known as turks) during the Ummayyad period.....they defeated the khazars ( it took 100 years for that) and finally subdued them....no other race managed that during this period.....read about battle of Ayn jalut

  • @Dangermouse6340 Yes, very underrated when their empire reached from Spain to small parts of India. Yes I know the battle, but the Mongols were defeated by the Delhi sultanates too. Turkics and Mongols have been subdued before. But its hard to fight a foe back then that is not only quick, but can kill you from a distance skillfully. Arabs warriors and other very skilled warriors will always be over shadowed by overhyped white warriors like the Spartans. White washed.

  • @JacobTheIndoAmerican yes jacob.....i agree with you totally.......even though im of arab origin....i respect and admire all warrior groups irrespective of their origin.......the spartans were a fairytale based on greek mythology....like pls.....300 defeated 1 million persians?!!!!

  • @hecktick133 I agree with you. The Roman army was stronger than the Chinese army i think. After all, the Chinese army was completely overrun by the mongols which were heavily outnumbered. Their army was big, bun inexperienced because they preferred to keep peace.

  • @basman777 During the reign of Wu Di, the Han Chinese had successfully adopted the tactics of the Archer Cavalry of their traditional enemies, the Xiong Nu and used it to destroy the Xiong Nu confederation. How these would have fared against the Romans is all conjecture but from what I recalled, the similar archer-cavalry tactics of the Parthians had repulsed more than a few Roman expeditions and prevented a direct Han-Roman alliance which the Romans had sought.

  • @LIbertyorDeath419 Really? I didn't know that. I guess you've got a good point then haha. Wow, can you imagine how powerfull an Han-Roman alliance would have been!? Good for the Parthians they managed to prevent that!

  • @basman777 Dude the Romans are nothing to the Mongols. The Mongol empire was almost 7x bigger then Rome. And the Mongols conquered and swallowed famous and LARGE empires. Not just some barbaric tribes like the celts and primitive Germanic.. What these people did was unite his tribe and made it into a MOVING conqeuring nation. Just look at the map of pre Mongol invasion and see ALL the large and small empire they conquered. No match.

  • @JacobTheIndoAmerican yes, but Mongols brought about only slaughters and destruction, instead of building acqueducts, thermal baths, amphitheaters as the Romans did .If civilized people hadn't mentioned Mongols in their books ,they would have been forgotten over the years. Then the Romans ruled their possession for 5-6 centuries, while the Mongols's kingdom was dissolved in a short time.Besides the Romans didn't submit only rude barbarians, but also the powerful easterns kingdoms.

  • @wererjydjkljbhgoljlWhat romans submit to their power is nothing compared, and its not like they swallowed whole Persia, like what Mongols did.Bro when the Mongols empire after ruled by his sons and grandsons like Yaun, golden horde, etc the influenced the major a culturally important countries like China,Persia,India, etc, etc, etc. These are the nations that had the earliest civilizations. And they brought black plague to Europe which was if it didnt happened Europes turn of events would be different.

  • @JacobTheIndoAmerican Actually, Mongols didn't influenced too much other countries, because culturally Mongols were absorbed by the lands they conquered. Like Romans who were influenced by Greeks, Mongols just had millitary power, but finally their empire fell because they couldn't win the "cultural war".

  • @arcangelkrlos Mongols directly influenced Persia, China, Arabia, Russia, India, Anatolians, etc, etc, etc which all have a lot of Influence. Mongols influenced these nations then only to be absorbed into their culture.

  • @JacobTheIndoAmerican Nope, culturally, they didn't give anything important to those country they conquered: their language, art, lifestyle, architecture, all was overshadowed by the nations they conquered. Mongols just conquered "lands", but not people's "mind". Because India's and China's culture, for example, were strongest than theirs...

  • @arcangelkrlos You are right when they conquered and then settle down they would absorb the culture to their advantage. And they would interbreed with the locals also.Example the Mughal empire in India. In the beginning they were Mongols who came to India.Through generations of interbreeding with Indian groups like the rajputs the emeprors facial features completely changed.Even the early Ottomans were Turkic tribes from central asia.Over time they also interbreed with Anatolians,Greeks, etc

  • @arcangelkrlos But it is still considered "influence" when you have control.

  • @wererjydjkljbhgoljl and the roman empire still exists today...

  • @basman777 When the Mongols took China , it was split between the Kin Dynasty on the north and the Sung in the South.

  • @LIbertyorDeath419 That's true indeed. If the empire was united they would have had a bigger chance to repel the Mongol invasion.

  • @Kingofsomething87 The mongol empire did very well when keping and empire for 163 years togther with many ememies who easily outnumber the mongol army 10 to 1. Next time look your history and try putting the past behind you and stop with the biased comments. The Mongol was probally the least evil and barbarian empire ever to exist in the medievial ages.

  • @Malusregnum Genghis could have killed those responible for the killing his ambassadors, and he did. But that wasnt enough for him. He had make the people suffer for the corruption of their governers. And in doing do he commited mass genocide. Nothing you say will make the mongols look less monstrous.

  • Comment removed

  • @Malusregnum And if the chinese truly take pride in being a part of the mongol empire then that just proves the stereotype that they are a submissive people.

And I doubt that patriotic englishmen would take pride in being butchered by savage mongols had that happened the past.

  • @Malusregnum The fact that you are so defensive of the mongols only shows that you are an civilized hateful psychopath.

I will not engage in further debate with you since you are clearly an ignorant idiot.

  • @Kingofsomething87 I meant to say uncivilized. Something you have demostrated quite well

  • If your head of state ordered the destruction of every person in Alaska, does that make YOU a murderous and evil monster. No, it doesn't. Listen to my words. I've already said that that act in persia was unusally brutal for the mongols but that doesn't make the rest of them Evil or their Empire evil.

  • Does that mean that because one man ordered those events to happen, it means that the rest of the Mongols advances in medicine and technology and brought a civilised way of life to Asia are evil? Think what your saying. Its like saying that because of what Hitler did to the Jews, every German is a racist bloodthirsty barbarian menat on world destruction.

  • @Kingofsomething87 And you say the patriotic Englishmen wouldn't take pride in being butchered by savage mongols? clearly you don't know the English at all. We praise all your different cultures that have lived throught our island, like the celts, Romans, saxons, vickings and normans.

  • @Kingofsomething87 We praise them all and we would praise the Mongols if they had ruled us and given to us the advantages of a mixed culture, something Allah doesn't seem interested in. And for gods sake, listen to yourself, your claiming

  • @Kingofsomething87that everyone who thinks the Mongols arn't evil people are Uncivilized hateful psychopaths. You saying that the whole of Mongolia is full of blood thirsty people just waiting to kill the first man they see? You saying that the whole of the Chinese people are racist pricks?

  • @Malusregnum ye ur right ! He cant understand what u saying. Just leave him !! He will think more..... about us..

  • @Euasss i know, but he is know apparantly gonna stop arguing with me, so that might give him time to think, and ty for agreeing with me.

  • @Kingofsomething87 Note, these comments are in the wrong order, work out which goes where

  • one of the best movies ive seen in a while!

  • best sound

  • I love Mongolia, and only a year there instilled a loyalty to the people and their land that I have never held for my on country...They are both proud and regretful of their past....but I this Khan was right in what he did all of no matter how brutal was driven by his heart and pride...with a good side of revenge

  • TO ALL MONGOL HATREDS, HISTORY WAS FACT AND ACCEPT IT WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!!! TO ALL THOSE HATREDS WHO SAYS WE WERE MURDERERS, IT HAPPENED IN XIIIth CENTURY NOT IN XXIst. TO ALL WHO SAYS WE BROUGHT ONLY DESTRUCTION; BY EXISTING MONGOLS CHINA BUILT ONE OF THE ANCIENT WONDER (THE GREAT WALL); UNDER MOGOL EMPIRE TIMUR KHAAN CONSTRUCTED (TAJ MAJAL) IN INDIA; UNDER THE MONGOL RULE FOR THE FIRST TIME EAST AND WEST COMMERCE WAS SAFELY AND EFFICIENT; MONGOLS HAD THE MOST EFFICIENT AND RAPID

  • @TheManguudai

Typing in all caps is a sure fire way to keep people from reading anything you type.

  • POST SERVICE TO THAT TIME; DURING MONGOL EMPIRE CHINGGIS KHAAN ALLOWED FREEDOM OF RELIGION (something that I barely see in ancient conquerors); THOUSANDS OF YEARS OF HAN CHINESE WAR TO UNITE THE 3 DYNASTIES WAS RESOLVED BY FOREIGNERS MONGOLS (preventing the unknown years of continuous Han Chinese civil war) AND SO FAR... IN A MATTER OF MILITARY AND DIPLOMACY (regarding to this issue READ IT) AND FOR THOSE TURKS WHO CLAIMS MONGOL EMPIRE CONSISTED BY TURKS... PLS STOP BULLSHITTING.

  • history of mongols 50 - 90 years only .

most of mongol army were tatars not mongols .

mongols were crushed at ain jalut battele and others and there empire destroyed.

    ISLAM POWER

  • @Huddua

tatars were mongols back then, and the other non mongolic people in golden horde were turkic, sharing a similiar culture and language..

we are proud to be a part of them in the past and proud of the times they formed a part of our army..

Tengri is bigger and older than islam.

  • @oharov

    thanks for the Information .

    i like them both anyway

  • @Huddua

the mongols crushed city's like baghdad an killed many of your muslim brothers, i wouldnt be to proud of that.

  • @Huddua

u noob. tatars were punished by great khan and were ordered to fight always in the first line of the army, because tatars killed yesukhei baatar who was genghis khans father. thats why ppl always say tatar mongol or tatar whateva. lol ur stupidity.

  • Mongol is strongest.....Chingis khaan was greatest khaan even ever in the world..... So I think this movie is not true history. Study more about mongolian real greatest and strongest history!!!!!!!

  • mogols were also skilled in using seige weapons and gunpower weapons, not just horseback shooting arrows. =p

  • @hanwenzero Rocket launchers, muthafucka. Among the very first.

  • hahaha so gun powder was made Mongols yes?Not made by china ? HaHaHa its like jesus was black

  • i said they USED... -_- i dont see the word invent or made anywhere in my comment... learn to read bro.

  • mind blowing movie, saw it here bit(dot)ly/4oXWUn

  • I lead some Elite Mangudai and killed some villagers and 1,250 of their city's protectors about 15 minutes ago. Mongols rule.

  • age of empires?

  • Yes, Age of the Conquerors. I make scenarios all the time.

  • Its fact that mongols were on lower level of culture then the other people in the known world in 12-13 century but is fact that they made the biggest empire and the most interesting is that they didnt got heavy cavalry or infantry they used light cavalry most well cheers what else to say about it and about the Britain.. Britain expands in 18-19 century we are talking now for 12-13 century when Temujic(Genghis Kahn) qounguers the world

  • this was a good movie.

  • This played in the U.S. two years ago...just not in mainstream theaters.

  • No US release? This kmowledge planted a simple question in my mind. WHY. THE. FUCK. NOT. The trailer has a dude on horseback cutting people the fuck in half. Why is New Line not all over this? American pussies. I'm moving to Mongolia.

  • watch online!!!!

  • @raptor1056 *complete agreement*

  • @raptor1056 Why release in America!? You already got enough movies. Enjoy your propaganda movies! A rich country produces bad movies. A poor country produces good movies.

  • Europeans were far less developed than Mongol as well as Chinese and Muslims at that time.

  • Mongol force must have been a really well-organised and sophiscated, using cannons and gunpowder they'd taken from China. It's not like the film.

  • In the Middle Age, Europe was one of the most underdeveloped and uncivilized area just comparable to central africa, without such things as modern liberty.

  • debatable. Both had different advances in technology and philosophy at the time

  • No Empire killed as large a proportion of the worlds population as the Mongol. The Mongol Empire is far and away the bloodiest, and yet the most interesting and astonishing of all the Empires in history.

  • they knew they were the best militarily. they gave cities and states the ultimatum: either acknowledge their greatness and pay tribute or die. no country would get away with something like that nowadays but that's what they did. it's actually a great story to tell and learn from but a lot of western people want to sweep it under the rug. this Bodrov guy is an exception. he deserves a lot of credit.

  • I am fascinated by the Mongol Empire. In comparison to todays standards it is reprehensible but in those days the Mongols were merely taking average warfare to a new, and extremely successful, level. In the same way as all other empires in history which are today condemned they merely did what all other countries were doing, but far better, and far more successfully. The way the Mongol Empire worked was genius, and, like the British Empire, vast territories were kept with tiny amounts of troops.

  • wow, great minds think alike.

  • this might offended you but i believe the British exploited any empire that stands on its way by a political means. Thats why they owned vast colonies all over the world. But then we got smarter and learned what the brits are doing...

  • Not political means. Economic and military means. Lets not forget that the Mongols invaded the Chines Empire, the Empires of the Middle-East etc. Britain developed an Empire only when Spain had used its Empire to try and invade England. This is the major difference between the two. The British Empire was brought together bit by bit over time by many different people, while the Mongol Empire was expanded fast and quick at the direction of a few people at the very top.

  • Genghis Khan???

  • What are the songs used in the trailer? I know the beginning strings is "Cold Winter". What starts at 0:13? What about 1:16?

  • guys where i can find this movie and i dont even know the name of it do me a favor please reply to me and just tell me the name of it

  • lol Mongol

  • torrents

  • this looks like a great movie, why is it in Russian, i'am Russian, but its a English title.

  • Because you are mongol

  • the great storm, the devine winds, kamikaze.

  • mmm, that isn't completly true, i thought it was something could a storm that beat them.

  • It was mother nature that fucked mongols, not japan.

  • It wasn't the Japanese that fought off the Mongols, it was the storm that destroyed the majority of their landing ships. This was after the first invasion, where Japan was thoroughly trounced by the Mongolian Horde. If it weren't for the storm, the Mongolians could have found an opening in the defensive line of the Japanese and overran them.

  • in 1:23 or sumthing like that, when they ride between the lines of the enemies cavalry, if the mongols had a tactic like that, that should be the most scary tactics for the mongols

  • this movie has 2 more installments right? does anyone know when the next ones are comin out

  • 2011 apparently

  • this is a beatiful movie, i prefer it

  • cut the crap.the question is..is it a good movie?

  • action-pack

  • If you like the mongols civilization or gengis khan, you will like this film

When i saw it I loved it cause I love the civilisation histories

But it' a good film ...He isn't boring there aren't any borings moments...

  • P0wnage yes! It's just in mongolian language but it is action packed with english subtitles

  • Eventually population and land ownership increases to the point at which the hole empire cannot be governed by one person. That's how the mongol empire collapsed.

That's why today, with so many people in the world, countries are lead by groups of people i.e. politics. Unfortunately, having others ruling alongside you increases the chance of corruption as people want to outdo their competitors for rule. No government system will ever be perfect.

  • what u say is mostly true, but genghis khan's methods of ruling an empire did not fail since his great grandsons divided up the empire and joined different religions and fought among themselves. The children of mongolian soldiers in the middle east converted to islam and the same happened in China, korea etc.

  • I think if one liberal man (in the sense not the party) were too rule over the group of people the rule would lead too a more perfect government. But finding the right one liberal man is nearly an impossible feat.

  • polish hussary pwned mongol ( tatarian) cavalry many times. For example at Otmochov in 164x year:)

  • The reason why mongolian cavalry was powerful is they were very light, fast, versatile(not like european heavy canned turtles) and the strategies they used.

  • GENGIS KHAN IS THE BEST!!! another can't do what he did!!! he by nohing, ha been build the biggest empire of all times!!! an empire bigger than the empire of romans, but all speake always about the romans....he was a really hero!!

and this film very good maker!! i love it!!!

  • mongols had biggest territory empire in history and they had finest cavalry in world also their horse archery owns !!

  • woohoo!! tadanobu asano...the coolest actor ever!!!!

i'm so glad he's the one who played genghis khan, one of the world's greatest leader in history

  • If we don't have brain, how we ruled the world 300 years. Genius of invention in military and others...from 12th century to 18th century Mongol descents were ruled the world. and build the biggest empire in the world. whole world knows MONGOL. what your people did sucker? nothing! only few great nations build empire in the whole human history!

  • 馬上得天下,但不能馬上治天下!

The Mongols were fierce warriors, they conquered a lot land, but unfortunately they don't have enough brains to govern their territory, which is still the situation today.

  • well said. u seem to know much about them. aren't u?

  • Well this comment of yours prove that your brain is not worth having it!

  • too bad that great leaders as genghis khan die this the reason why nobody conquered the world because everyone dies at a time.......sad,sad,sad

  • he died of old age i think..........

  • 现在的蒙古人只是活在历史的回忆中,靠杀人谋生的民族注定不长久。

  • JOLILE MONGOL!!
