@ALIKARG First, I'm not an MD. I started with back stretches mixed with short walks. In no time I was walking several miles a day. I started slow & added a bit every few days. Weight came off, I had more energy, and my pain level dropped significantly. Everyone is different but if I had to select just 1 activity for back pain? It would be walking. If walking is a problem, particularly when starting out? The recumbent bike is wonderful! Good luck to you! I wish you all the best! John
