I played this from when I was 9 years onwards. Also, in my opinion, you shouldn't judge the uploader's overall playability of the game from this one run-through alone; for all you know another play-through the uploader does of this game may be different... e.g. more/less special zones accessed.

You have a secret life in every act including the boss acts. The life in act 2 was in the water in 3:36 In act 3 go left in 6:03 to find the ilfe. You have a "continue" in every bonus level. And a diamond in every zone.

is there no way to kill the badniks with the spikes on top of them without loosing your rings/shield. every time you rolled in them you lost your rings.

Supercool. Sonic was my first game after the reunification of the two Germanys. Sonic rocks and Dr. Robotnik is legend! The master system version is much more fun than the other versions and I will remember the Robotnik music for the rest of my life. ;-)

The Sky City Zone was nerve-racking and it took me forever to find the trick to get the last Chaos Emerald on the zeppelin. ;-)

Sonic 2 was very good as well, but more difficult. :-)

Wow, Sonic looks different in the MS version than the Game Gear version...almost like the way he looks in Sonic 2 for the Game Gear. I also noticed in another video the title screen is different. Anyway, this game is awesome!
