Like it or not, this is the future of gaming. Perhaps you 'purists'(?) would like all games to be controlled using the Atari stick and single red button controller. Why is everyone hating on this? The kinect has a built in voice recognition software built into it that is pretty advanced. Yes the dialog part is rather redundant. But, the way it cam be implemented in battle seems really cool. It's an optional feature anyway, if you don't like it don't use it. Simple as that.

Why are people hating on this some much? it's not a necessity, it's optional. You can play this with just a controller. This just adds more immersion like it was stated in the video, it adds better coordination.

Also, for people saying Bioware are wasting their time doing this and could've been used to make a better game. Bioware didn't need to anything, the voice recognition software is already in Kinect from the start rather than having to implement it on a headset.

I really think this is a stupid feature, it doesn't help immersion at all. How does saying a dialogue choice, and then having your avatar in game mimic it back improve immersion? I guess you can pretend Shepard is an idiot and needs you to whisper what he needs to say in his ear, but then you're no longer playing as Shepard, but as his back seat driver.
