  • hey mate! I have one or two pitanja.Imam same turntable gemini tt2000, HD-15 headshell, CN-15 cartridge, gemini ps121x Meeker. Now after more scratches somehow can not get by fine scratching. Do the needles to do this or Meeker gemini ps121x not just for that? Crosfader poor harvest when we scratch. Tnx

  • how much costs

  • @dj6red the MAYA44 USB: $100 (at least, depending where you get it from), this one i have ran me about $112

  • So the M4 doesnt have an internal soundcard and you need an external one to play the time coded vinyls?

  • @allzetime thats right, either the MAYA44 USB or the Serato box

  • These good for gigs?

  • @armauniizbeasty if you're a mix DJ you "might" get away with them in a gig....but if you scratch it would be useless to use em due to the low torque on these

  • @SoundsOfThought so i should invest in regualr turntables?

  • @armauniizbeasty pretty much, i kinda got "jipped" when the people told me that these were "high torque" decks, comes to find out they have the same power as belt driven decks (i later replaced those with Numark TT200s); what i recommend is the Numark TT200, TT500 or TTX's (the TT200's being the most affordable and TTX's being the expensive high end) all of which have good torque comparable to the Technics 1200s; there are also Stantons that are just as good like the others

  • @SoundsOfThought iight bto THANK YOU!

  • Hey you mind helping me out!, i have a numark stereo io sound card and two gemini tt2000 turntables and a numark m6 mixer. How would i connect my turntables to VDJ. How would i configure this on my sound card and in VDJ.?

  • @angeluxx517 not sure how to answer that on its configuration, but i do know that you need a sound card that has 4 analog inputs for both decks and 4 outputs going to the mixer and from i've seen from the Numark Stereo IO it does not have the dedicated 4 Ins and 4 Outs; plus this device must support the ASIO interface (such as the MAYA44, Serato sound card and Mixvibes U-MIX44 ect.)

  • @SoundsOfThought Ahh ok makes sense cause it keeps saying there are not enough channels. OK ima pick up the Maya44 usb then. How do you hook it up with the Maya44 then?. And i was thinking it was my TT2000,so those work with VDJ right?

  • can yo connect to laptop

  • @armauniizbeasty as you can see here, you can; but of course you need the MAYA44 USB sound card or the Serato Box (or equivalent that supports ASIO)

  • @SoundsOfThought how much

  • @armauniizbeasty the MAYA44 USB usually runs about $100 to $115; the Serato sound card is a tad bit higher in price...like 400 to 500 dollars, so the MAYA44 would be your less expensive route

  • @SoundsOfThought where do you guy the MAYA44 ?

  • @armauniizbeasty im assuming you mean "where do you get the MAYA44"; the one you see here i got it from Juno Records.co.uk; only ran me about $112

  • @SoundsOfThought welll im from america so.....

  • @armauniizbeasty its still possible for you to get it if you're here in teh US (i'll PM you the link for it from teh site)

  • wuts goood i got stanton str 80s, numark m3 mixer, maya 44 usb and serato vinyl. Got the tables to work and play songs and scratch and all that but cannot for the life of me get the mixer to work at all, you have any idea why this might be happening

  • @sikysik how you got virtual dj (if you are using that) configured up?...do you have it set for an external mixer?, and plus do you have your cables hooked up correctly?

  • I hope you have some slider mats on those turntables, cuz if not you'll ruin them big time...

  • @DJK0N3X0 i have some waxpaper (2 sheets at that) below the slipmats, so that way i'll have the least resistance when moving the record around.

  • hey man thanks for the vid..is there any other combo I could use with VDJ instead of the Maya44?? For instance maybe run a mixer with midi inputs and get a midi to USB dongle??

  • hey im about to go and but a pair need to no if they have god torq and any thing u dident like about them.

    dj zenikkk

  • This idj-now site is great, but I'm not sure they ship to Bosnia :D

But thank you for recomendation ;)

  • @DejanKuzma i doubt they do since its U.S. based; but i do know that junorecords sells internationally (thats where i got my MAYA44 usb soundcard from) they are based in the UK, and they have timecode vinyls; i should have said that from the start had i remembered that they sold them earlier.

  • Ty for reply ... Just another question ... Can I use Torq TCV to control Deckadance ?

Cause I can't find Serato's in our music shops ...

  • @DejanKuzma yea, you should be able to use any type of timecode vinyl (depends on the configuration of the program)

plus if you cant find timecodes locally where you are, try browsing through online sites like amazon, guitar center and idj-now (just to name a few)

  • Please tell me, it is real-time scratch feeling ?

And which manufacturer TC vinyls you used ?

Is there any limits, if I buy, i don't know, Native Instruments vinyls ... ?

May I use them on any software, or it has to be Traktor ( in this case ? )

  • @DejanKuzma its near real-time in this video, im still working out the kinks with configuration with this one (although these decks are not soo great); and plus the timecodes are serato scratch live (version 2) vinyls...and as for limits, you can use any vinyl with virtual DJ (the program i using in this video) such as Traktor, Virtual DJ, Serato, and Tourqe.

as for software, with these as you can see these serato vinyls are working with VDJ, they might work with Traktor scratch and Deckadance
