  • I LOVE this song! Totally my favorite version of this song. I always kind of resented it growing up. This puts a whole new spin on it. Thanks for sharing! :)

  • Nice job putting this together Michael. Thanks. Johnny Morgan

  • wow! what a singer, man that's it!!

  • Awesome. What a voice!

  • Such a power voice. Even tho i'm from Columbus ohio and they are from Michigan so is my favorite singer Steveland Morris (Stevie Wonder). I love the Power in the vocies, excellent version of this classic. Thanks turning me on to this stuff, WOW i've been missing this in my collection of songs. Thanks again

  • This is a cover of the song by 'Bob B. Soxx & The Blue Jeans' released in 1962 on the Phillies label. The Rationals do an exceptional job one it.

  • I never heard the Miley Cyrus version until just about a minute ago but I think she's covering the jackson 5, not the Rationals. Too be honest almost everybody's rock/soul version sounds like this one, tempo wise. These guys do an awesome job at singing this and make it top notch.

  • The guys always gave 200 % performance at all their gigs. This was one of my favorites they did. They were such great guys! I will always remember the Triumph TR4

  • The Dave Clark Five actually covered this song before The Rationals, but this is still pretty cool.

  • Did they do this version?

  • Omg, I thought Miley did an original cover of this song, but her version is exactly the same. She has lost a bit of the tiny amount of credit I have for her.

I love this version, I actually prefer her singing it, but I love this melody.

  • This shows what a great band these guys really were. To take a mundane song and turn it into a soulful display of funky rhythm and melody. Now you see why they were voted the most popular band in Michigan in 1967. Lets face it, these guys were the Beatles of the local scene. Heard all the time on radio, seen on TV and performing shows with style and class. They gave all of us fellow musicians hope that ,hey, it might happen for us too!!
