I ABSOLUTELY love your videos! If I get to the Seattle area in the next little bit, I'm coming by. Thank you so much for your entertaining and informative videos! I'm always so happy when I'm looking up a machine and find there's a video by Kat and Gail! Woo hoo!
@CheeryToes Thank you!!! Glad you enjoy them and that you're finding them useful as you research equipment :) Please do visit if you're ever in our neck of the woods :D - Kat
I am a massive massive MASSIVE fan of your reviews and have recently bought a Handpresso Domepod, this takes fresh, finely ground coffee not the ESE Pods.
would you please be able to do a segment on this product?
A few things I have found with the Handpresso: You can use the end of the pump as the tamp and some beans stand out better even though I managed to keep extraction factors very close.
I also want to say you've both done greatwork on the Ranchilio Silvia V3. =D
@NeMachine Hey there! We do have a video on this and also the 'intense' filter; if you search for Handpresso in our available videos, you'll find it. That's a great tip about using the tip as a tamp! We'll try it next time. :) Thanks for watching -- glad you've found the videos helpful. - Kat
Looks like the shot time is more closer to espresso than with the Mypressi. All the shots I've seen online from the Mypressi are under 20 sec and most of them between 15-18 sec but this one was about 25 sec.
@klarinetta You can dial in the MyPressi more than this machine that is using pods. You can definitely get a longer shot from the MyPressi than these, hands down. - Kat
