  • Oh Kalia your so bad :) Kalia was actually born in captivity for all you dumb asses her mother Kasatka taught her how to hunt. If you were to free her she would die for sure because she has NEVER been in the wild and they are not "forced to perform" I'm sorry but if you think you can "force" an 2 ton animal to perform your an idiot. What do you think SeaWorld spends there money on? Well I'll tell you! They use it for conservation get your facts straight before you talk.

  • Whales do not belong in parks, this is very cruel it is a prison cell

  • @607777777 And if we released this one, it would die. Chill.

  • @losingmymind611 It should never have been put there in the first place ..wakey wakey!

  • @607777777 It was probably BORN THERE. Durp.

  • @607777777 Haha! Sorry, you can't handle being rebuffed.

  • @607777777 Yeah, I'm totally going to be with my friends at 1 AM. I live my life during normal daytime ours, thank you.

  • @losingmymind611 ...What part of Fuck Off do you not understand

  • @607777777 What part of "freedom of speech" do you not understand? You can scream and whine at me all you want, but you're the uneducated moron here and no amount of cursing will change that.

  • @losingmymind611 FYI I was killing time at the Airport...now go play with yourself bye bye...Fuck Off

  • @607777777 You're so predictable, now you're excusing yourself. There's no excuse to act like a dumbass unless you actually are one. Going as far as to go to my page and send me a personal message cursing at me some more only proves that point. Why don't you do yourself a favor and stop replying to maintain whatever idiotic dignity you have left.

  • @losingmymind611 What part of FUCK OFF do you not understand...eh!! you stupid cunt

  • @607777777 Yet again, what part of "freedom of speech" do you not understand?

  • @losingmymind611 What part of FUCK OFF do you not understand...you stupid cunt

  • @607777777 Copying and pasting isn't going to help your cause, sweetie.

  • @losingmymind611 What part of FUCK OFF do you not understand....you stupid cunt.

  • @losingmymind611 What part of FUCK OFF do you not understand..you stupid cunt

  • Dawn we are sorry, but serious questions have to be asked about the animals well being, i am sure the trainers think that they are friends to the orcas but all they do is prolong the suffering. You guys may not like it but enough is probly enough. Lets face it cash is king so they will continue suffer.

  • @dpfencing And how is this whale suffering? The only thing I can think she/he's suffering from is boredom.

  • was that Dawn Brancheau in this video talking to the public? We miss you you dearly Dawn. R.I.P.

  • @trancential411 No, that isn't her. This was shot at Seaworld Texas, and Dawn worked in Orlando.

  • I love SeaWorld so much! Kalia is so sweet! <3 Shamu!

  • 0:04 to 0:06 laughing like a machine gun!

  • the orca should be in the ocean not in a tank

  • Go Kalia catch him!! YOU GO GIRL!!

  • THe birds are free ranging birds. The trainers would spend all day shoing away the birds.. the birds are a natural thing. This is how things are in the wild basically.

  • i agree with twister and ronofontario

  • The baby is still hungry !!!

  • i got that on tape xD

  • XD birdy wants some whale food but orca stops hom rom having it

  • the birds like 'nananan u can't get me' and shamus like 'wanna bet!!' :L

  • Hahaha I got that on tape

    Jk it's funny

  • haha that's smart from what the trainer said, the whales keep the fish in their mouth to get the birds to come closer. that bird was totally teasing that whale haha

  • that is the cutest thing ive seen

  • if i was the trainer i would shoe away the bird, wouldn't want whale's instinct to kick it. but if it were up to me, there would be no sea world or zoo's

  • HAHA its just like a cat hunting mice. Shes like "come here ya little mcnugget

  • what are morrons..are these people taping this video....

  • lol poor Kalia XDD

  • KILLER INSTINCT IS STILL WORKING.

  • wild orca can caught that bird with one bite..i think so

  • haha im sure an adult orca could to

  • Captive orcas are a sad caricature, a weary and spiritless version of

their wild counterparts. Visitors cannot help but leave with a distorted perception of

orcas and their environment. Most disturbingly, they may leave with the notion that it is

acceptable to confine orcas and other animals, solely to meet human demands for

entertainment and 'education' "Dying to Entertain You" Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society.

  • but with the reducing numbers of our marine mammals in the wild, it is a sad fact that some time in the not too far future, this may be thre only way of keeping the species alive.

It's sad to capture a wild one and keep it in such conditions. But for the offspring they don't know the wild and are thus not stressed or unhappy.

They are fed well (in western countries), have better healthcae than most American citizens and their minds are kept stimulated.

its no substitute for the wild

  • Hey i know your an idiot but i'll reply anyway. I said its sad to keep them in captivity. Look around, humans are destroying every species on earth,no matter how diverse they are, killer whale numbers continue to dramatically drop. I am correct in saying that in the future this is the only place they will be left. Who cares what you think because I am right.

I'd rather be in captivity than dead, wouldn't you??? Especially if i was born into captivity and have no idea of the open oceans.

  • ... lighten up, Francis.

  • @kujotk well what you said its true but wild animals are known to become stressed when put in captivity. even some humans rather choose death than being depressed.

  • cool LOL!!!!!!!!

  • CRUEL AND UNUSUAL PUNISHMENT YOU IMbasILS!

EATING is NOT A JOKE...Wild Ones Play You4FOOLs.

  • haha i saw that

  • Kalia is so funny

  • Hello you watched the clip too.

  • Omg how CUTE! LOL

    Good footage.

  • she really wants to grab the bird.. its a fun game for them aparently smart girl isint she.. I guess she spotted the others doing that and is saying" hey I want to it!!"

  • Is it OK at I use parts of your movie to make my own video? :)

  • dont ask...in this generation its a free for all..everyone is a video pirate

  • This one wild Killer Whale regurgitated some food to lure a bird on to the water service.

  • Hahaha! At 0:45-0-46, someone laughed, and then Kalia looked up as if she was saying "who are YOU laughing at?" lol!

  • I wanna work there!

  • that was cute.Kalia is funny never expected that!

  • yeah its all fun and games till they catch them it happened before during a show

  • i give that orca an A+ in hunting

  • Yea, me too! If she was in the wild she would definetly survive on birds, lol!:D

  • Aww that is so cute!

  • She wants that bird!

  • KALIA GOT HUGE! WOW! great footage!

  • That's the Dine With Shamu area, it's attached to a few other HUGE tanks they can go to

  • i know right?

  • I hate people who capture animals 4 profit look at their fins how they are bent and u know that the whale misses its family...I could cry for the animals in captivity

  • ok no offense or anything...but why dont you go complain about how horses are treated then? theyre breeded, and sold from their families. i have a horse, and thats exactly what happened to her. but i dont hear her complaining about it. besides, orcas are bred in captivity so they are with their families.

  • well go to a horse video and I'm sure you'll see the appropriate comments for the horses. Right now, we're fuckin talking about a whale here. DUH!!

  • Kalia is a little ham. She does this all day, especially if it involves the egrets.

  • well isn't that adorable

  • Je Taiime petiiite Kaliiia !!!!

  • these animals do exactly the same thing on beaches to get baby seals. don't believe me? go and watch 'wolves of the sea' by Sir

    david Attenbourgh.

  • yeah. and when they get stuck on the beach like they sometimes do on those platform thingymabobs, nobodys there to help push them back in the water.

  • what the heck did that mean? Killer whales worry about Killer whales?

  • Considering that this whale was born in captivity, to a parent also born in captivity....and they never have to worry about killer whales or whaler ships...

  • of course theyll be free, but theyll also face millions of dangers like pollution and scarce of food.

  • yeah, well that's the nature of the beast. We all live a life like that...even humans. It's called "TAKE YOUR CHANCES". you eat meat right? you're taking a chance with your life every single day whether you know it or not.

    drive a car? same thing!

  • i ttly agree with you. but the problem is, you cant just release the orca like that because it doesnt know how to live. orcas arent the only animals that are "slaves". horses, for example, are the most enslaved animal of all. many are locked up in little stalls and theyre only allowed to come out and work. people have to do extremely boring jobs and kids have to go to school, which is work, but thats so they can eat. just like the orcas. go figure...

  • well I wouldnt mind so much if Whales were in captivity if they gave them a couple acres to swim around it, rather than a oversized swimming pool. They need far bigger pools for speed swimming pleasures. I agree that they cant be released after capture, but hey...I just wanna see far bigger pools for them

  • i agree. i wish they could have bigger tanks.

  • Good Idea! Perhaps you should start an organization dedicated to issues like this one. :)

  • Kalia's mother, Kasatka, was not born in captivity she was born in Icelandic waters.

  • @Twister302 To use the rigors of the wild as a justification

for the conditions of captivity is misleading and

disingenuous. This argument implies that the natural

state is an evil to be avoided and that the captive

environment is the preferred state. The suggestion

is that animals must be protected from the very

surroundings that sustain them. Naomi A. Rose PhD- 2009

  • @Twister302 Kalias mother Kasatka was born in the wild...

You got that on tape ;)

  • yeah nobody ever thinks what they could be doing in the wild its just horrible

  • Yeah... And people said that Keiko. What happened? He died after they tried releasing him. If a whale is born into capitivy, that's one thing. If it's captured and forced into capivity, that's another.

  • Tsk, clearly you are yet another one of those mindless PETA types who make assumptions about animals they know nothing about. You are anthropomorphizing orcas. These animals were born in captivity and they don't have any clue what they are missing. They are spoiled rotten, loved, entertained and fed...they are happy animals! :) Don't forget that the mortality rate for captive born water mammals released into the wild is HIGH. So release them to die? Sillyness!

  • You know, if it wasn't for places like SeaWorld, people would probably still hate/fear orcas. Yeah, that's right. People used to feel the same about orcas as they do about sharks. Go figure.

  • LOL! Good job Kalia!

  • OMG Thats Kalia Shes a Cheeky devil. thanks for posting
