@PhillipAnthonyTM Thanks for the comment but if anything the other name for this species is the Black Egret. I have never heard "Umbrella Heron" as a formal name for this species. To stop confusion we could just call it Egretta ardesiaca...but some might say thats being a bit poncy :)

this guy is ill-informed. this is an Umbrella Heron and not an Egret at all, even though they are closely related.
