This song is played much too fast. Dexterity is one thing, but the player shows no emotion. A valse musette should be more alluring and sexy. It's not a race to the finish line. And I think the player should listen to the song on a recording, not just a youtube video, because some parts of the melody, and many of the chords he plays are wrong. An accordionist can be very masterful in execution, but think of the meaning of a song before launching into a frenzied tempo.

Its not how you play instrument that matters, its what you feel when you play an instrument that matters. Do not go judge somebody's feelings towards a piece. he wanted to play it fast, so be it, but do not go judge him and say that he has no emotion in his music, he has as much emotion as needed.

What train do you have to catch? By hearing this, I think you won't miss it, because you're going sooo fast. Accordeon is about heart and soul, not about getting this song recorded before your batteries run out. And besides the tempo, you also totally lack any difference in your 'intonation': everything is exactly the same loudness. Try getting some accents in your music, try to playing certain bits very softly, trry putting some variation in your tempo! To summarize: just try to make music.

You show some promising skills for playing this instrument, but why do you take it so fast? You tend to rush between phrases. Stop and breath a bit. Play with a little more maturity and understanding of the piece, rather than rushing to the finish.

Dear Geartner. One advise: not so fast, take it easy. I know your accordion:Hohner Atlantic, if you have time and the chance look for the same accordion but older. Yours has white buttons for the registers look for one with black. Better reeds in it ,so called golden reeds, the same as in the best hohner morinos.
