@2153474 That's retarded... The launch control feature would be practically useless if it couldn't be used more that 2-3 times a drive. I doubt they would even install a feature like so on a $180,000 car if the feature would risk jamming the gear box....

the z06 is faster 0-60mph, faster 1/4 mile,cost less I believe, made out of stronger material, brakes better, rides alot tighter, handels better just all around better
Maybe Z06 is faster, but only on straight line and only bacause it has 7 liter engine, R8 only 4.2 if R8 had such big engine it would blow Z06 into pieces. it's cheaper too because it's american, but body of R8 is much harder because it has space aluminium frame. z06 is simply a dragster

Z06 is not carbon fiber, it's fiberglass.
The ZR1 has more carbon fiber, and costs about as much as the R8.
It would outperform it in most areas too.
