This guy apparently was blown away by the tornado................JUST SAY NO to ignoring the "tornado watch" on your TV screen, or you'll wind up like him.
Most common PSAs about drugs they have had throughout the years have been either Pot or Crack. I think they should talk about Meth and Heroin just as much as either Ad Council or Drug Free America or any other anti-drug organizations do talk about Pot and Crack.
@CannibalCorpseOwns98 legalize crack too. thats why theres murder and terrorist funds. cuz addicts shoot dealers dealers shoot addicts dealers shoot other dealers and tons of random fukers get killed in tha middle, and non addicts loose there job because of a stupid crack pipe they forgot in there car on there way home from work. legalize all drugs and crime and murder will evaporate its so fukin obvious
The thing that got me, was how they use to show these psas late at night when kids would be asleep. Your parents would be up late watching friday night videos or something and then this would come on, repeatedly.
Well part of the reason (and probably the main one) is because that was the cheapest airtime on TV.
Of course, you would also scare kids even more since they're in the pitch dark alone hearing thsoe scary synthesizers and seeing those graphic images.
trust me, there were drug commercials more scarier than this, it's was this one I saw when I was 7 about sniffing harmful chemicals to get high, and the girl's body literally turned into sand, and then it was another one when a girl was in her room and it filled up with warter that she could not get out and she drowned. now those scared the living hell out of me, not to mention television networks show these messages back to back repeatedly in order to scare people.
i swear, i shit myself when I saw the end of that commercial, if you think about it things are alot more worse than what happened 20 years ago, first it was herion, then cocaine, then crack, then extacy, then meth, then herion made a comeback in the 90's, then inhalents, then steriods, and now over the counter medcine, it seems like a pattern when one drug disappears another comes into existence. whats next, speedballing!
I remember this from when I was a really little kid, along with the other "classics." I could have sworn that they were talking about grass, not base, but I guess my memory is a little off from using both jk jk
ok ill be above the influence. because i dont want to be under the influence of a government that things im an idiot, i wont let the government peer pressure me into doing anything i dont want to do. anyone got some crack
What a stupid commercial. I hate the PSA so much or any anti-drug campaign for that matter. These commercials serve no purpose at all. Instead of "drug free" how about drug informed. See this commercial does not inform anyone about anything it only pushes someone elses view of reality on to people.
This ad became burnt (pardon the pun) into my memory for the rest of my life. For one thing, this crept into the commercials during ABC's "The Wonder Years" lineup . . . That, and those Energizer [bunny] "commercials."
When I was very young I use to laugh at this commercial. But now that I am old enough to know what these PSAs are about, it really goes to show what can happen.
Possibly because you don't expect the guy to burn and blow away. However the junkie PSAs were mostly scary because of the weird music/noise in the end.
Well that wasent verry nice

This PSA pretty much traumatized me throughout the early 90s. Now, it's on my favorites! :P

well back then things were "it is, what it is" do drugs and die.
now everything is watered down..from music we listen to, to the tv shows on now days.
baltimoreblitz16 2 years ago 5
You're right, we're so worried about sheltering kids nowadays and we're not doing them any favors.

I didn't say it was scarier then the junkie psa's. The ballerina made my sister run out of the room! But this one still gave us the creeps.

Possibly because you don't expect the guy to burn and blow away. However the junkie PSAs were mostly scary because of the weird music/noise in the end.
