Salli, thank you for teaching this opera snob a lesson and recording this. You've brought the 70's ballad to classical music. This rendition at the very least the likes of Sayo and even de los Angeles. Dare i get ahead of myself and say you are more haunting than both? i think so.

This Bachiana is a powerful music, and a nonviolent music, it shows a kind of spiritual devotion facing the width of landscape. Not every famous singer feels this way. Salli Terri did, I think.

This performance was the composer's favorite recording. I wore out the old LP of the album I had and when the CD came out I bought it. It is a treasure.

there was another CD reissue, "Duets With Spanish Guitar Volume 2", made up of tracks selected from "Conversations With The Guitar" and "For My True Love"
