the eaton m90 is the stock S/C for he GTP. They/You should have gone for a procharger setup on the stang. i had and miss my gtp.. but mustangs generally should be faster.. i'm pretty sure they weigh less than a 4dr GTp

M90 was designed for a V6. I would like to know what they did to get the M90 on the GT. Being it was a 2 valve head and the intakes to make it work would have been for a 4 valve head. The cost to put this supercharger on the 2 valve would have been close to the Ford Racing Kit with the M112

I had an 01 Cobra (Headers, Intake, Gears, Tune) and a modded GTP. I loved both my cars and let my friend use my GTP and my GTP was about 3 cars ahead till about 125 where my Cobra started pulling. I miss my GTP and I wish that everyone would just stop and hate on the rice burners. Pontiac, Ford, Chevy VS Honda, Acura, Toyota you know the regular POS' except for those few.

We can attain more boost with lower compression resulting in more horsepower. Heck Roush made a system that gives 600hp with just their blower. Granted it's $13,000 but still. Your 3.8L can't handle the raw power and torque that ours can. Give it up, you and your "power sedan" can't match american muscle.

Race cars do not = Street cars. A car that can run down the track at those times has to become certified and the cage needed hardly qualifies it as a street car. No doubt that GTP flies, I've seen it in person, but most people don't drive cars like that on the streets.

I believe that the Stang was M90 supercharged but a V6 not a GT. The M90 is a direct bolt on for the 3.8/3.9 V6 Stangs, It wont work on a GT, sorry but no

I can believe that the GTP won this matchup, especially if the Mustang has a 2valve 4.6l in it. Only the SVT Cobra's (starting what year I cannot remember) had a 4valve 4.6l. The 2valve motors were not as good by far and their HP output was comparable to a 3800 engine. Sad but true...
VerzGP, I have a '03 gt with an allens engine supercharger kit. I uses the M90 eaton, and i'm pushing 6-7lbs, but i'm way over 300 rwhp. never had it on the dyno, but i was runnin 12.9's at the track. my friend made a stupid vid of me, search supercharged 2003 gt to see my car do a fly by
And for the rest of you idiots that are doubting that this mustang GT was supercharged. It was just a simple M90 blower kit that is sold by Ford Racing. And yes there is a custom intake manifold. The Stang was putting down about 300 rwhp, and the GTP had about 325 fwhp.
GTP mods were XP cam, air/water Intercooler, 2.8'' pulley, tune, and Power-log. (no headers).
Sorry, but I'm not buying that the stang is super charged. 1st off no super charger whine. 2nd off the M90 is a popular SC becuase it is a cheap alternative to pro charger or vortech, that is a direct bolt up. It is that way because the same engine in the tbird sc is the same engine in the mustang, and the Tbird sc was supercharged with the m90. But this mustang uses different head so the M90 won't bolt to it.
yeah man if anything the GTP is supercharged since 80% of them come with one that adds another 40 to 65 HP on top of the 210 HP thats already there depending on how you tune it

The GTP is for sure supercharged. You didnt hear the supercharger from either because the exhaust overpowers it. Im not saying the mustang is or isnt supercharged, but saying that it isnt cuz you cant hear it isnt an excuse.

The M90 isn't the part that's engine specific, it's the manifold that it bolts to, because a 3.8 L67 and a 3.8 Essex are quite different, and I've even seen M90s on Cologne 4.0s. Because it's a dirt cheap charger (you can get one from ZZP performance for $550 ported), people choose it for all sorts of crazy stuff.

the eaton m90 is the stock S/C for he GTP. They/You should have gone for a procharger setup on the stang. i had and miss my gtp.. but mustangs generally should be faster.. i'm pretty sure they weigh less than a 4dr GTp

Lol oh BTW, guess what style supercharger the GTP uses... Gen III M90! GTP's put down 240 hp and 280 torque at the crank so it doesn't take much to make this car move...next time do a little research before you insult someones car.

Every application is different. Use parts designed for less displacement and you'll get less performance.
I helped with my friends 02 GT to get him in the low 12's. What we did was:
4.30 gears
AFM powerpipe
Underdrive pullies with AC delete
Full Exhaust(Kooks long tubes,3" Xpipe, 3" bullet racing mufflers)
Larger Throttle body
SCT tuner- reflashed for upgrades
2nd run at the track was 11.88 @ 114.47mph
Let's see what these cars run at a track?

M90 was designed for a V6. I would like to know what they did to get the M90 on the GT. Being it was a 2 valve head and the intakes to make it work would have been for a 4 valve head. The cost to put this supercharger on the 2 valve would have been close to the Ford Racing Kit with the M112

I had an 01 Cobra (Headers, Intake, Gears, Tune) and a modded GTP. I loved both my cars and let my friend use my GTP and my GTP was about 3 cars ahead till about 125 where my Cobra started pulling. I miss my GTP and I wish that everyone would just stop and hate on the rice burners. Pontiac, Ford, Chevy VS Honda, Acura, Toyota you know the regular POS' except for those few.

We can attain more boost with lower compression resulting in more horsepower. Heck Roush made a system that gives 600hp with just their blower. Granted it's $13,000 but still. Your 3.8L can't handle the raw power and torque that ours can. Give it up, you and your "power sedan" can't match american muscle.

I can believe that the GTP won this matchup, especially if the Mustang has a 2valve 4.6l in it. Only the SVT Cobra's (starting what year I cannot remember) had a 4valve 4.6l. The 2valve motors were not as good by far and their HP output was comparable to a 3800 engine. Sad but true...

And for the rest of you idiots that are doubting that this mustang GT was supercharged. It was just a simple M90 blower kit that is sold by Ford Racing. And yes there is a custom intake manifold. The Stang was putting down about 300 rwhp, and the GTP had about 325 fwhp.
GTP mods were XP cam, air/water Intercooler, 2.8'' pulley, tune, and Power-log. (no headers).

Sorry, but I'm not buying that the stang is super charged. 1st off no super charger whine. 2nd off the M90 is a popular SC becuase it is a cheap alternative to pro charger or vortech, that is a direct bolt up. It is that way because the same engine in the tbird sc is the same engine in the mustang, and the Tbird sc was supercharged with the m90. But this mustang uses different head so the M90 won't bolt to it.

@csmith5810 Only 15% the Grand Prix's came from the factory supercharged. 62% of the Prixers were standard GT models. All GTPs were supercharged.

To say it's not SC because you don't hear the whine is kind of dumb considering both cars are suppose to have the same SC...And I personaly own a GTP and I can tell you I absolutely slaughter mustang GT's especially of those years. So considering a stock M90 is only like 3psi, it's a very beleivable outcome here.

@kingcobra101z Like I said, I own a GTP and I whoop mustang GT's. So to add a small super charger like an M90 to get a mustang GT to keep up with a GTP is pretty reasonable.

@TiKondaRoga yeah ugh hugh and how many mods you got invested in your gtp? Listen, I've been to the drag strip, I have seen GTs take out GTPs on a regular bases, stock for stock a GT is faster. The v8 also has way more potential to make more power.

The GTP is for sure supercharged. You didnt hear the supercharger from either because the exhaust overpowers it. Im not saying the mustang is or isnt supercharged, but saying that it isnt cuz you cant hear it isnt an excuse.

Thunderchicken SC's were supercharged V6s, not 8s, and no way that was a v6 mustang. So I'm thinking your info may be a little off.

@NotYour94Ranger no shit it came with one from the factory. Again, no shit, it came with the 3.8 essax. You miss read what I said, I said this gt wasn't using an m90 because the m90 was on a super coupe. Kinda hard to bolt a sc meant for a 6 cylinder on an 8.

@kingcobra101z Well, I may have, but it was worded oddly.
The M90 isn't the part that's engine specific, it's the manifold that it bolts to, because a 3.8 L67 and a 3.8 Essex are quite different, and I've even seen M90s on Cologne 4.0s. Because it's a dirt cheap charger (you can get one from ZZP performance for $550 ported), people choose it for all sorts of crazy stuff.
