I have more than 3 Gb downloads for Sims 2 and never had a virus.

@lTamaraaCl If you have more then 40,000 downloads,you will get viruses.But viruses only start when you get over 40,000 downloads.If you download hairs,you probably won't download 40,000,so no viruses till 40,000(or 50,000) :)

@thesims3251 I know how she got them on to the sims 2 all you need to do is go to you sims 2 folder and open the downloads folder and after you download something move it to that and the next time you play the sims 2 it will say something about custom content and you need to enable that and then all your downloads in your downloads folder will be in your game! Hope I helped.
