  • Real good stuff! I play this song for some 40 years since it was released in 1967. I was a young boy then. Listen to their other nice songs "Mighty Quinn" & "Pretty Flamingo". MM is truly talented. Thanks for the uploading.

  • Did Manfred Mann record this first or did The Yardbirds?

  • I've been searching very long for this song, it's great!

  • Lol yes it does amuse me, as every video of this song seems madder than the next...all of them great stuff to start your day with a big ˝HA HA˝ :D . A true MASTERPIECE :D

  • Time machine please. Thanks. Take me right back to this very studio, very set, and let me HAVE Mike. Please and thank you.

  • My father's favorite song. RIP daddy

  • This song starts to be annoying....

  • Good clip ; i liked this fontana line up ; we had this single back in '67' with Feeling So Good on the B side. I also have MIGHTY GARVEY album from '68 which includes this and Mighty Quinn

  • i think the yardbirds version was first...

  • Oh no, the manfred was earlier. This song was a another famous Graham Gouldman composition. I think the Manfred did the best interpretation, powerfull.

  • @moxie96 No, it was a man which wrote it for'em!

  • soooo great !!! awesome!

  • I love Manfred mann, they were wicked

  • Great band. The best music was in the 60's.

  • Isn't this just a great pop tune?

  • i wish i was 20 in those days

  • I was, but somehow I didn't fit in. I wish I'd been different, but then I wouldn't have been me! This song holds poignant memories for me, a friend of my brother was killed in an accident when it was popular. He was aged only 16 and I always think of him when I hear it... I think we are meant only for the era we are born into, my friend.

  • I dunno but I think I should have been born into the 50's as the 1960s were appropriate for me. Born in 1965 the whole swinging era missed me. But I feel such a connection anyway. Forever!

  • Be sure of that : me too !!

  • me too ,,

  • even the intro is cool :-)

  • This must've been one they wrote themselves...

  • No it was written by Tony Hazzard, who also wrote Fox on the Run which they had another hit with the following year.

  • Real flowerpower, good melody that's the real sixties! Thanks to show!

  • Just reading the lyrics again and this is an amazing song, put together with a brilliant arrangement here!
