  • cool hey how do you take off the screen housing ?

  • Waht about the screen? I want to like to clean the LCD

  • So hard to remove the optical drive...

  • Nice backgound song :)

  • turns on again you have been banned for modding on MacBook Live this ban will be removed on 31/12/9999! 'Oh what the fuck!'

  • itll be great if u use a camera stand or better called tripod

  • I'm getting a latest mbp in a few days. And can get it anodized black... Do you think any of the aluminum chassis has non-removable plastic bits or anything?

  • Geez, you know how to take that thing apart!!

  • your too careless

  • hi im dj publo i saw your video and im worndering if u could give me some advice about my mac book pro the same as the the one in your video ...the screen keeps flicking and sometimes goes fuzzy but it comes and goes if its moved would like to fix this...could you help???

  • @Djpublo Get a computer that doesn't cost $1,000 to fix.

  • good lord get a tripod

  • THIS VIDEO IS AWESOME ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT YOU DIDNT SHOW THE HINGE LIKE HOW TO REMOVE/REPLACE/TIGHT THEM :(

  • Magnetize your screwdriver to make it easier on yourself and use screwdrivers with larger grips (preferably soft). I like your ice tray tip.

  • @calbo1954 Yeah, but don't do it if you want to use your screwdriver with electronics pieces, it's not recommended.

  • where is the intel processor ?

  • The front panel on my Mac Book pro( around the screen broke on the bottom right corner...how do i replace it

  • @momawaldi23 if you found a fix for the problem you described, please message me. Just wondering.

  • i think you should get a tripod

  • nice vid but this it a mac book not a pro

  • @Armaangandevia1 if it has two fans, its a macbook pro. macbooks only have one fan...

  • @computergeek3192 ITS A MACBOOK!! NOT PRO! Peace~

  • getting those screws out is a bitch. maybe i just don't have the right screw driver though.

  • On the bottom right side of my macbook pro( to the right of the trackpad area.) makes a clicking noise if i accidentally apply pressure on it. Do you know why it makes that noise. P.S Its new.

  • LOL this is great!

  • is there a new version for the 2009/2010 Macbook Pro?

  • @goodspeed1

Well, if you actuallity check the video... this is from 2008, so NO, this is not a 2009/2010 macbook.

  • The bottom of mine isn't in 2 sections, its just one big one :/

  • latch?!!! lol

  • You're pretty stupid disassembling it when you just got it.

  • he just voided all his warranties!!!

  • @Samoubitza who cares? He knows what he is doing, why would he need warranties when he could do it all himself?

  • make sure you remove the ice before using your ice tray for screws ;-)

  • I would not have the balls to do something like that hahaha

  • The whole time I was waiting for the background music but I kept hearing your voice.

  • Hi the hack do you need to keep your screws organized if you scratch the back side of it with your screw(brain)driver like a redneck? I - - - T

  • Cool! Thanks for the vid!

Have you ever considered investing in a tripod?(It would make your job so much easier)

  • i loled so hard at 2:20

  • i would laugh so hard if you couldnnt put it back together lol by by new computer

  • I bought a MBP and was really cautious when handling it. Yet somehow, there are tons of scratches on the bottom after having it for a month. Also some knicks on the aluminum near the hinges. Anyone have this happen to them or am I just really bad with things

  • was that an SSD? HDD's arent usually that small are they? dont the macbooks use the 2.5" like everything else?

  • @ryancouture

If you look carefully, at 0:58, and 1:00, you can clearly see that is a HDD. On the back, you can see the circle in the middle, where the motor is. SSD do not have a motor.

  • can u remove the screen. everybody knows how to remove battery, ram, and hdd.

  • yes but have they done it?

  • yeah i have 2 hdd's..

  • which we are going to disassemble right now ... with music in the background!

    lol

  • cuz they dont need two cuz one does the job

  • Why did Apple only put one cooling fan in the 2009 MacBook Pro??

    (I have one)

  • maybe because it only has one graphic card... i don't know :S

  • Comment removed

  • Only gets hot when I'm charging it or when I'm running intense applications.

  • wait do you have the 13 inch?

  • No. I have the 15 inch 2.53 GHz one.

  • Now i know what apple's talking about "Whole new engineering" thingy. =D

  • i love my macbook...but i wish i had waited for the macbook pro 13 inch. they cost the same but the pro has faster cpu.

  • I think every Apple consumer feels the same way. Especially for the iPod Touches and iPhones.

  • Aluminium has an I in it, check the spelling of your title!!! And what is it with Americans that pronounce it without an I, WTF? It's NOT Aluminum FFS!

  • Yes it is. America rules the world, and therefore, the english language as well, silly.

  • Wow, it is truly astounding how full of themselves people are of their country... The American accent descended from the British accent and in my opinion a terrible... Your pronunciation is terrible lazy, slurred and boring. You bend words so that they fit you instead of actually saying the PROPER title? I just don't get Americans... Never have, never will...

  • That's because ya'll British folk pronounce everythin' wrong. It's not "bahhzil"(basil). I'm sorry, did someone steal your masculinity? It's BAY-zil.

BTW, I'm totally joking bro. Take a chill pill and don't be so prejudiced against americans. You know the gals in Britishland love an American accent... much the way American girls love British accents.

  • we saved you asses from nazis, be greatfull. you guys bann free speach by banning people who speak their thoughts google it. learn your shit before jizzing all over the straight people

  • 2:12... hard to watch you scratch your case like that

  • i felt that in my guts

  • @NathanCharrois Hahaha i know huh

  • id get y u would do this to a 2000 dollar comp

  • kuzz there the s**t

  • i find stuff like this so interesting

  • @asskickerANDco

thats what i posted on youtube 3 years ago

now i have a computer store.

  • nice, dude, u make me understand more about the unibody macbook pro

  • Moral of Story: If it aint broke..don't fix it....

  • You know what sucks more than losing screws? Faggots. I think you know what I'm talking about.

  • Interesting, i love watching dissasemblies. i wonder how long it will be before someone makes one of these for the new 2009 17' MBP.

  • You used your screw driver like that , dont you fear you will scratch your macbook surface?

And what version is your Macbook pro..? You bought applecare protection plan??

  • lol thats what she said

  • hope you were grounded to something... nice vid though man, looks a lot cleaner than the 13"

  • I like watching you whip out the battery case. And by battery case, I mean penis.

  • loved the that what she said... and on the contrary the mother board looks very different on the other side because you can see the cpu, gpu's, heatsink, and a speaker... all u can see it the boring side.... have u found where the fans take in air?

  • so interesting

  • nice

  • why did u wont to void your warranty on such a new laptop

  • doing this does not void the warranty!!!!!
