  • Great idea but would use clear wrapped candy canes so that the grandchildren (of all ages) can eat them and they would not be spoiled by the close contact to flowers or dust etc. Would also do canes first THEN the flower arrangement as I'm so clumsy.

Thanks for a greta idea that is simple to do and so attractive. If as one lady mentioned, no candy sticks'canes, use rolled up pieces of striped paper with a shiney coating for similar effect but be careful not to us too tight a band.

  • This is beautiful...but where can I get peppermint sticks?

  • Peppermint sticks? Can you use candy canes instead

  • im thinking this MIGHT only be good for a week or 2 IF you make them with real flowers.

  • Wow, so beautiful and inexpensive to make. Thanks for the beautiful ideas!!!

  • this is cool and she doesn't use glue.. awesome and innovative

  • thanks for sharing this useful service with us.

  • @beare1 what if you want to eat them

  • Impressive what you can do with little things

  • ,maybe glue on the candycanes

  • so very pretty!

  • hello a floral designer here,i would do the candy first then the floral product would make it easier

  • i love how it looks!!!.... i will do it next xmas for sure

  • stop exactly on 0:02. Watch , Thumbs Up and Laugh

  • I think it would look more festive with poinsettias.

  • It makes me sooo angry cause in fucked up Germany there are no peppermint sticks or such red/green lovely Christmas Candies in general. *WTF* Germany is so depressing. It always takes years to get some Christmas movement from u guys over there to us.

  • Take it from me: Decorate the jar with candy canes BEFORE you arrange the roses/flowers. ALSO: You might be better off hot-gluing the candy canes to the jar. No matter what size rubber band you use (Or what size jar), the candy canes do not want to stay put. Double-sided tape PLUS a rubber band could also work.

  • a waste of candy canes hell who cares what the jar looks like

  • thankx alot

  • thats nice i like that

  • Wouldn't it be easier to put the flowers in AFTER the candy is in place?
