During your 40 years as a cop, you were brainwashed into dehumanizing all civilians and viewing them as the evil enemy. You also learned to rationalize all police felonies and consider all cops to be superior beings who could do no wrong. Power and authority (however minuscule) with no accountability bred your arrogance and contempt for the law and the taxpayers who compensated you. You are so deluded now by your 40 years of mind alteration that you will never realize the truth.
You are dead wrong. All cops are criminals because the so-called good cops unconditionally support the most felonious. It is a federal felony for a police officer to refrain from reporting another cop's crime (even a misdemeanor) to which he is a material witness. For that reason alone, all cops are sanctimonious felons. Also, a cop's definition of "good law enforcement" is dramatically different form the legal one. All cops trash the Constitution when dealing with suspects.
95% of police officers are go folks and a small percentage are on ego trips and get into law enforcement as they are wimps in real life and need that power trip to justify their weakness in life. The law enforcement must remove these people and make sure they do not retain their status as public servants (aka) Police Officers. I hope this man wins his law suit. I am a retired police officer of 40 years and I enjoyed helping my community with good law enforcement.
As this video graphically evidences, police officers deliberately provoke, enrage, and antagonize law-abiding civilians in order to have an excuse to arrest, assault, and otherwise dominate them and employ torture toys (such as tasers and batons) against them. Judging by cops' aforementioned behavior and their ridiculously exaggerated physiques, cops seem to be more concerned about flexing their metaphorical, imagined, and literal muscles of power than about upholding any law.
They risk OUR lives for us every day...To swerve and neglect..Give the piggies 20 yrs each hard labor!
